I’ve only had them for two weeks, but would definitely recommend them as they’ve managed to completely eliminate any odor from all of my running/gym shoes! I leave them in my sneakers overnight and pop them out when I need my shoes. I haven’t tried leaving the satchels in sun to “recharge” yet as they don’t really seem to have odor cling to them easily, but I feel confident that it would actually work for new use.

Plastic garbage bag manufacturers seem to think that customers prefer to be subjected to that ghastly stench of the so-called fragrance they add to the bags rather than the scent of stale garbage; and it's getting difficult to find unscented bags. Just open the box of plastic bags and slip one of these charcoal bags inside -- it really helps to soak up the factory-installed malodorousness.

I bought it for sneakers it didn't work well I'm using it in the dresser so far it's alright

I guess it's working not sure as my kids throw the garbage when it's full. Cant really tell.

I've been using these for a couple wks now & am happy with the odor control. I use them in our shoe drawers & in the diaper pail. I put wet diapers straight in pail & still tie up the dirty diapers in a baggie before putting in the pail, & I can go a week with great odor control (by this time pail is full). There's no scent to these so it's not masking odors, it truly eliminates the odor.

I got these to use on my workout shoes to absorb odors. Despite most the bags seeping charcoal, I tried anyway. They did very little after a day. In the same shoe I tried a smallmsprinkle of baking soda and viola, the odor was gone in a few hours.

I was really skeptical, but these work great! Purchased for my bathroom trash can that has lid with step-on opening. Wish it had some kind of Velcro on one side that I could put it like a stick up to the inside of the lid. Had to settle with placing it under the bottom of the can. Controls odors wonderfully! I also use a couple on the lid of my cat litter box.

Despite the high dose, no effect was felt. It was a disappointment.
