I am not someone to write reviews but I absolutely needed to for this bra. I am 13 days post breast reduction and all of my previous bras purchased were just not cutting it. I was a little hesitant about purchasing due to the reviews but I am extremely happy!! I wish I would've purchased them sooner. I normally wear a large and based on the recommendations, I sized up to an XL and it fits perfect. I extra padding on the side give a little extra cushion and only makes this bra more comfortable. I purchased the front zip bra and while it is a little low cut, it's not enough to talk about. If you are wanting a front zip compression bra for after surgery, this is the one you need!!!

I purchased this bra after a double mastectomy surgery with immediate reconstruction and after trying others that didn't work, this one did the job. The fabric is soft, it doesn't touch the lower scars and it holds the breasts in place without feeling too tight. In my case, due to swelling, it's just a bit tight in the upper part of my breast, but it's not terrible. And I followed the advice on other reviews and ordered S (I'm usually XS), so I would recommend it.

I just had a breast aug post 3 weeks and this bra is amazing and comfortable as I did read the reviews I sized up and got XL n it fit perfect. i was a 34b Medium before just for sizing reference n got 435ccs. I love it and so recommend it. i suggest buying two different sizes to be on the safe side :)

I didn’t ask my doctor if it was okay. But so far it has decent compression, good hooks, and I love that the side and where my stitches are has a very thin padding. The bra my hospital sent me in was awful cotton Velcro’s that would touch my stitches. For reference I am 136lbs now probably like a full B/small C. And I ordered a medium.

I was provided a surgical bra to wear after my surgical biopsy, and I wanted to get another, but the one provided was very pricey. I thought this one would be ideal for post-surgery and later. Unfortunately, I would say that the 3X size is too snug for a 44B without getting an extender. The V-neck is much too low if you have a surgical site on the upper part of your breast, midway from nipple. Just too uncomfortable and the wound covering (gauze) is not fully covered. I really did not anticipate that from the phots. So I will keep, using an extender for later. The strap adjustment isn't hard once you get the "hook" out of the original fabric slot. I used a very thin crochet hook to help do that and prevent the Metal hook from grabbing the fabric. Any very thin rod, like a darning needle, crochet hook, or cake tester/toothpick would likely help slide the metal hook out of the fabric loop.

I wanted to provide a comprehensive review of both bra styles. For reference I had a breast augmentation. For reference went from 275cc 32B to 550cc 32-34D predicted.I purchased 3 sizes based on the size chart measurements. It’s hard to gage your size post op due to extreme swelling from surgery. I recommend sizing up one. I ordered a small in the hook front closures. I ordered small, medium and large in the zip front. I will start by stating ALL have adjustable straps. It is a hook and loop adjustment on each strap. It is very difficult to unhook the strap the first time but once it’s out it’s easy to move up or down. The front zip style bras are very comfortable! The thick band in the bottom did not cut into my sutures at all. There is light padding around the bottom portion of the bra only to provide comfort. The zip front is easy to use. The medium worked very well for me post op in the zip front style. The fabric is soft and very stretchy. I was able to place ice packs inside the bra. It would bounce back and not get stretched out around the cups. The band does get stretched and is a bit loose on the medium. But it’s comfortable. The small was too tight around my lower bust. I returned that one prior to my surgery. The large was much too big around the lower bust. For reference my typical bra size is 32.For the hook front closure version I purchased a small since I could adjust the size by 3 different hook levels. The straps are also adjustable hook and loop style. I kept this thinking it would fit post op but it seems too small. I would recommend sizing up on this one as well. The band seems to fit but it has too much compression in the cups even on the loosest hook. The hooks are also a bit harder to use when you are a few days post op and not able to use your chest muscles.Overall very happy these bras are comfortable post surgically. They are not attractive but really do a good job after surgery. I would recommend it. Sizing is a bit hard to nail down but I recommend one size up from your current size.

Loved this for post op - best part is that the strap are easily adjustable to many lengths and comfort preference. This is one of my favorite and highly recommend for post op recovery.

This bra is the comfiest post op bra ever, I couldn't wait to change into it after my surgery and have been wearing everyday for 6 weeks, wish I bought 2 lol

The quality of the fabric seems great. I bought this for a breast augmentation surgery, and bought a size large. I tried it on prior to the surgery (normally I wear small/medium) and it was very tight and small-even at the smallest options. It had an adjustable front closure, however, there are so many hooks, that make it cumbersome to use. The shoulder straps are very difficult to adjust. It should really be more "user friendly" if it will be used after a surgery. The side pading is so minimal. Honestly, less supportive than my regular bras...so the advertising on that is very misleading. I specifically chose this brand because they advertised that side support. Since it's a specialty item, it's expensive, but I found that front-closing sports bras at Walmart to be better. I returned it.

This compression bra is super comfortable. It has soft memory foam built in the under bust to the sides. Highly recommend for post op surgeries, working out or just for extra support. No padding in the bust, very soft material.

Had to wear it at the tightest hooks, and I feel that there should have been some light padding at the nipple area to prevent your nipples from showing up when you wear them below tees.
