Nuvo Lighting Two Light Semi Flush Mount, 14"W x 8.25"H, Bronze/Dark

We bought an older home a few years ago and finally have the budget to start updating the garish gold light fixtures throughout the upper and lower hallways. I picked a rubbed bronze light for the entry and a smaller coordinated one for the entry hall that looked great. I was really happy to find these flush mounts that coordinated with my first floor to give the house a flow to the lighting that was not exactly same:same but at least similar in design. These flush mounts look much better outside bedrooms and I did not need anything lower hanging.The instructions aren't bad but could be better. If you know a little about how lights are wired, you can do it yourself without much of a problem. I'm not much of an electrician but I've replaced most of our lights, receptacles and switches. If electrical scares you, hire someone.

Love the light fixture, I was not anticipating liking it as much as I did. My parents put it up and said the directions are terrible. It will take up to two 100 watt bulbs which makes it plenty bright for my dining area. Is about five inches from the ceiling. (Not low hanging.)Edit: After thinking about this: I would give the light fixture itself 5 stars and the directions 3 or maybe 2. My dad build our first house and my mother is used to installing various fixtures and household items. If they had trouble with the directions, they are poorly written.

Installed 2 of these features along the landing/hallway on my 2nd floor. They are very attractive lights and look great while really lighting up the area. It is difficult to get them exactly level but although that bothered me a bit right after installing, I don't notice it at all in daily use. I would agree with other reviewers that installation is a little challenging because of needing to line up all the strap things and balance the glass bowl while adjusting all the screws. But the price was good and I'm happy with my purchase.

The final product is excellent, but to get there is a long puzzle. It comes all apart, extremely long cords and cables. It is even hard to put the light bulbs on.I am very pleased with how it looks though...

Love it although the metal can be made a little better. Normally nobody will notice once it’s up.

Looks great, smaller than I imagined. Super easy install!

Light is okay, quality seems okay but there are a lot of small parts to install while standing on a ladder & working overhead. The way the light is configured a lot of the light is reflected up onto the ceiling, not sure if it's what I was looking for.

It was just OK. It was not as nice as we'd hoped so returned this item
