ZBDLXMD Buck Knives 715 Ascend LT (3.25in Upswept Skinner 420HC Steel, 4.5in Closed, Anodized Aluminum Handle, Stainless Steel Clip)

This is a good knife for a good price. I'm not thrilled about the aluminum handle design, personally. I like the material, but it does not fit comfortably in the hand. That being said, I think this is a great knife. Buck is known for HC steel, which can bite you good if you're not careful! Excellent blade steel. Mine takes effort to open, ignoring the fact that this is not a flipper or open-assist knife. I'm willing to look past that. If you want something sturdy and sharp (which an interesting belly on the blade!) This is the knife I suggest.

I almost purchased the 710 Volt before I found this.It's light weight but solid. Its not a plastic frame. I also like the back lock. They just feel more secure than a liner lock, especially if it's on a plastic frame knife.I'm not thrilled with the blade shape, I prefer more of a drop point. But that was obvious when I purchased it, so that's on me. The blade was very sharp and holds an edge well.Great little work knife. If I lose it I won't cry...……. too much.

My nephew needed some foam balls for an astronomy project. For some odd reason, they're hard to find around Rhode Island so I ordered them online. Perfect for his project on the stellar bodies of the solar system and helped him win first place in his school!
