The Golden Goose

As I read this I kept thinking "any minute now some twist or other is going to happen", but it didnt and, do you know what, it is charming for that. I was reading it to a six year old and plot twists are not exactly what he demands.It is a nice read but will be moving onto something a little more challenging.....The Iron Man next.....

A fantastic book to read with a class of children. The characters are good role models. we really enjoyed the story and loved the happy ending.

Ilike the part were Farmer Skint found out that Joy had laid a golden egg and i think that it is suitable for kids who are seven.

The main characters are farmer Skint his family and the golden goose. The book was about a golden goose who brong good luck to a poor farmer and made him very rich indeed. My favrout part was when a news paper said the farmers name and the golden gooses name {johns joy}. I liked this book because it got better and better and better. I would to recommend it to a friend because it got better page by page.by Brennan
