Thought I could MacGyver it.
I bought this thing too fix a rolling magnet tool that I broke the handle off of. For some reason I thought that the flagpole diameter was the same as the magnetic tool handle. It was off by a little bit so I had to end up cutting the metal to make room for a thicker handle but that didn't work so I abandon the project altogether. Overall it's a standard wall mounted metal flag holder which just wasn't made for my intended application. Iy probably would work fine if the handle was a bit smaller in diameter.

No package but supposed to be new
One bracket came yesterday new and another came today in a ziplock bag and looks used. Also they don't match each other. Looks like two different molds. I know this may not seem important but thats why I bought two to go on each side of porch and match

My Cats Love It
There is nothing exciting about this item, but it functions as it should and wasn't too expensive. I bought it not to use with a flag, but rather to hold one of those cat toys that comes on a stick. Now my cats can play with the toy even when I am too busy to play with them. They are happy with this purchase.
