Hopefully another review will have the ability to give confirmed results.Temporary detector for parking heater safety device. Simple unit but feels good with nice display. Good quality Carbon Monoxide Detector from GasDoc made from good materials and will last a long time if treated correctly.The Carbon Monoxide Detector feels strong and durable and is very well built and has a nice simple design. The screen is a nice size you can easily see what is being displayed and is bright BUT if using outside in very bright sunlight you may struggle to see what’s on the display BUT its just a case of putting your other hand over the display to create some shade so it really is not that big of a deal if using outside which you probably will never be doing.The buttons are very responsive which is always important for any kind of device no pressing the buttons multiple times to preform an action.This is a hard device to review as I can’t really confirm if it is working or not unless I know there are dangerous levels of carbon monoxide so I have to assume it is working the levels in the house is 0 which is always good for reassurance. The temperature level is correct I tested this by going into different rooms where I know the temperatures are different and the displayed adjusted as you would expect. The humidity level/percentage I am not convinced that is correct but I am will to give it the benefit of the doubt.Overall I am happy with the carbon monoxide detector.

This is a carbon monoxide detector with rechargable battery and black color. It has nice clear and easily readable display. A smashing little detector, very impressed with this for the price.The display is extremely clear, and easy to read from any angle... unlike some of these types of device that have a particular sweet-spot, outside which viewing is virtually impossible.The one I received was showing 'fully charged', so despite my usual job with battery powered items (always charge before use*), I tried it out straight away.There's a colour coded indication of Co levels, apart from the main display showing the usual ppm. After switching on, the full display will remain on the screen, eventually switching to power-saving mode (after 5 minutes since last button press)... the main display goes off, but the coloured ring continues to pulse every 10 seconds indicating it is still monitoring the air.I've tried this next to a lit gas cooker, and it will pick up a reading... well within safe limits, but shows it's sensitive enough to measure extremely low levels.*Regarding charging, it was quickly apparent that there was a problem with the meter I received. I always monitor charge rates via an inline USB tester, but as soon as this was connected, the tester went dark. This was a sure-fire indication that there was a problem with the device. On examination, the actual USB-C charging port was found to be defective, with a pin shorting straight between pos and neg. At best, the device couldn't be charged. The other (likely) outcome would be a damaged charger, and/or lead. I've fixed this myself after dismantling the detector (as this is a Vine review item). Normally you would of course just return it for a replacement or refund. These things can happen, I do believe therefore that I was simply unlucky to receive a faulty unit.Despite the above, I would still thoroughly recommend this little detector. The fact that it's simple to use, very easy to see the results, and actually well made overall merits a thumbs-up from me.On a quality/value-for-money basis.... 5-Stars.

This is a nice portable Carbon Monoxide detector. It is small, rechargeable by USB-C and has a nice clear display to show the the CO ppm, battery and as a bonus temp and humidity levels.In my testing I was surprised at how quickly the reading update, mostly the temp and humidity. I was also impressed at how long the battery seems to last. I tested for a few hours and the battery didn't drop a bar. I will however need to do further testing on the CO reading from. I tested next to my hob and it did not detect any CO. In one regard this is good as it means my hob is burning the gas correctly. One the other hand I was expecting at least a handful of CO ppm. I will try testing next on a car exhaust or my boiler flue if I can reach it.Something else I really like about the design is it also contains a magnet. It's not super strong, attaching to my fridge it slide down the door, but it's a nice thing to have.
