Way better than I thought they'd be
Amazing stands. I was hesitant at first because of the price, but they really are worth it. They're sturdier than I thought they would be and the adjustable height is a huge bonus for sound elevation if that's something you need. Definitely recommended.

Easy
This was easy to put together and does the job for my Samsung Q990D setup. The only thing is that the plugins are too fat for the pipe so you'll have your wire outside. To me that is not a big deal & also not the stand's fault.

Fits Samsung Rear Speaker kit.
These stands were solid and easy to install. Only issue, base “A” to Post “B” the holes didn’t line up as easily as the other stand. But my Samsung 9500rear speaker kit fit well!

Do what they need to do, but with a bit more bulk than I'd like
Purchased these after having to return a pair of Sanus stands that the rear satellite speakers in a Samsung HW-Q990C Soundbar would not fit. I -wanted- the MD-5401 stands, but thankfully Mounting Dream folks are careful and honest in their product descriptions so I avoided having to send back yet another set before getting these; they stated explicitly in their description that the MD-5401 stands would NOT fix my speakers and pointed me to these, the MD-5402. They fit fine.My only gripe and reason for whacking them one star and only giving 4 stars, is that these are SO bulky; the tubes and bases are much bigger than what I'd want, especially since the rear speakers in my kit are relatively small and only weigh about 4-5 lbs. each. But until I get the TV and soundbar mounted on the wall, these will suit me very very well; at that point these will be wall mounted too if I can find a way to hide the cords in my ancient apartment.

Works as expected
Works pretty great with the Q990D rear surrounds. You just need to make sure you have some washers laying around so you tightly secure it, although in reality you probably don't need to worry about it since they don't seem to move much without being fastened down.

Fits the q990c rears great!
Really nice stands for the price. Super sturdy. Had no issues attaching the q990c rear speakers to these.

Sturdy Speaker Stands
After about 30 minutes of assembly time I was able to set my surround speakers up. My wife was pleased with the look of the stands so all good there. I removed the foot pads and replaced them with carpet spikes and honestly that took the most time. I measured so each spike was the same height as all the others and the stands sit well in the carpeted floor. The two tubes are screwed in place with hex screws with a screw knob in the middle of both tube to adjust the speaker height. I have them extended all the way to the max height of 42 inches -- which puts the rear surround speakers at a nice position above the back of the sofa. The speaker power wire is run through the back of the top tube and exits out the bottom. The resultant look is clean and the stands hold the speakers securely. The stands come in a powder coat finish so they look to be scratch resistant. As far a tip-resistance goes, I am sure you can knock them over with a heavy blow but otherwise the wide base makes them somewhat immune from easily tippling over. If tip-resistance is important to you then I recommend adding some lead weights in the base to give the stands more weight. I don't think that is really necessary. I tried to tip them over with increasingly stronger pushes and I was satisfied that under "normal" conditions they won't easily tip over.My only suggestion to the manufacturer is that instead of the knob to adjust height you should just supply another hex set screw which makes for a cleaner look. Once set I do not plan on changing the height.Really nice speaker stands. Highly recommended.

Functional and look great.
I liked them so much for my Samsung rear sound bar speakers, I bought them again for by rear JBL speakers. These two brands rear speakers are completely different shapes and sizes but these worked for both.
