The material is amazing, its the "soft felt type feel" like I was looking for bc I hate the plastic ones with a passion. Has a nice gripped backside so it doesn't slide anywhere. The mouse moves perfect on it. And it's veryyy pretty and simplistic like I wanted.Only bad thing is I underestimated the "watercolor" effects... ive seen other reviews say it but I thought it I'd see for myself. It really does look like I spilled something on it and it stained.. (pic#2) but the pic actually makes it look better than what it really is. One corner has the "watercolor" effect in a shade of like orange-tan which looks exactly like a coffee spill. And the matt itself is an off-white color. Another review called it "dingy" which I think describes it well. Like washing whites with colors and the whites get "dingy" looking. And the fact that my desk is bright white makes it look even worse... I really think it would look gorgeous on a black desk instead of white where you can't compare the shades of white. I haven't decided if I'm keeping it or returning it bc I really like the simplicity of it and that's hard to find with these matts. It's not "all in your face" obnoxious colors.Anyways, I'm giving it 5 stars bc the material is great, price is great, size is great, mouse moves awesome, it really is perfect. it's not their fault I don't like the pattern.

Colour is as good in the picture, really nice lilac with gold flecks. Very soft material.

The size is just perfect and is amazingly protective on my desk! I have room for my laptop, mouse, phone, notepad and all assortment of needed items!
