I took the DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro on a weekend trip to Chicago’s Loop, and it didn’t disappoint. From recording the city lights at night to stabilizing footage while walking through the busy streets, this camera handled it all.Walking along State Street, I wanted to capture the rush of people, the bright billboards, and the city’s energy. The low-light performance was solid—the 1/1.3” sensor really made a difference in keeping details sharp even in dim lighting. On my way to Chicago, I filmed while driving at 80 mph, and the stabilization kept everything smooth with no weird jitters.Pros:Great low-light performance: Captured Chicago’s skyline at night without grainy mess.Stabilization is on point: Even at high speeds, the footage stayed smooth.Battery life is a lifesaver: Filmed all day, swapped batteries easily, no stress. With the extra battery pack, you can film all day without interruption: the only thing you’ll need is more memory storage.Dual screens are useful: Flipping to the front screen for quick vlogs made things easier.Cons:DJI Mimo app isn’t on Google Play: You have to sideload it, which is annoying.Audio is okay, but could be better: If you’re serious about vlogging, get an external mic.If you’re traveling or looking for a solid action camera, this is a great pick. It handled The Loop, nighttime shots, and high-speed movement like a pro. Definitely worth it for anyone who needs a compact but powerful camera for capturing life on the go.

Great quality camera. Use it for lots of random little tasks where I don’t want to set up my full size cam. Onboard storage is fantastic too, if you’re shooting often or making longer videos you’ll definitely want an SD card, but for my purposes it saves me a few bucks. Battery life is solid, the controls are easy to use, and the video quality is great even at night.The timelapse mode is a bit unintuitive but once you figure it out, you’re golden. The app sucks, definitely the worst app I’ve used to transfer videos. I’m on iOS, it might be better on android, but Sony’s app and Insta360’s app both work fine. This app has some bizarre issue where file transfer just doesn’t work the first few attempts, and it really doesn’t like it when you have cellular data on while connected to the camera via WiFi. Definitely a skill issue on the developer’s part as it’s not an iOS limitation.

Content game changer!!! This small form factor, robust camera is absolutely worth it. The user interface is a no-brainer, and when paired with the app, it's seamless. The camera has a great sensor for low-light filming and dynamic shooting during the daytime. When paired with the DJI Microphone, this camera is a content creation powerhouse.

The media could not be loaded. I was looking for a camera that could pretty much do it all, and that's hard to find. Originally I steered clear from action cameras because they were limited to their wide-angle lens and that wasn't the look I was going for all the time. But now these cameras offer a standard non-warped lens and they shoot 4K at multiple frame rates I just can't think of another camera that can do as many things as this with this form factor and at this price. The bundle comes with three batteries which is just fantastic and the case they come in is great too it even has storage slots for extra SD cards inside the lid.Dji's magnet mounts are another great feature for quick switching between tripods or selfie sticks or gimbals or whatever.The only drawback that I found so far is that for some reason the power button is awfully hard to press and hold I'm not sure if it's an issue with just mine or if all of them are just difficult but it's almost comical how hard you have to hold the button.It's difficult to go into too much detail just in a review like this, so overall this is a fantastic camera with very large aftermarket support for accessories. I am happy with my purchase and I would purchase again.

Camera was awesome and super clear image , 1st day I used it mounted to my boat in fishing tournament and hit a wave and the mount broke sending my camera for a swim …. Didn’t even get to use for 1 whole day and lost good footage of many fish catches and out 400$ , camera was nice but very disappointed in the mounting clamp , I don’t think I can justify buying again unless the company wanted to help me out .

Great product, really nice to have all the accessories in the kit together.Did a lot of research and compared all the latest cameras and found that DJI seems to have some of the best out of the box features and recording options.The Rocksteady feature is great for bicycle/motorcycle/running video without making the watching of it cause nausea.

This Adventure Combo brings the necessary gear to start recording your content, i like the quality materials, the videos it makes and their sound quality you dont need any microphones to start but it works great with dji mics.Conclusions, battery life improved, and im happy with the value for money

While the camera works great and has a lot of nice features, you have to download an app to your phone or the camera will lock up and not allow you to use it. The app has major security issues so is not available via the Google Play store. The app is also not compatible with a lot of phones. The security issues are big enough to avoid using it. What little advantage you might have over a GoPro isn't worth the risk of the company accessing EVERYTHING on your phone.
