I like the robust construction of unit, and weatherproop. I use it from my front door to my workshop 30 Mtrs down my back garden, works fine.

This is smart and easy to fix even for an old girl like me. You do however need to buy speaker wire so you can contact outer Unit to indoor wall mounted phone. It's also a nice looker and name plate lights up. Also because power is fixed to phone you will require a Shaver plug as unit not a three pin but you can fix one if wanted.

Like another reviewer we also experienced the handset ringing when nobody had pressed the bell. All connections checked but no short circuits were found. Item returned, hopefully the replacement will be ok.

Very disappointed with this purchase. Have no idea why it’s for sale for UK. Each handset needs to be plugged in (can’t be wired into an existing setup so no good as a replacement solution). Additionally each plug is an EU plug and would need an adaptor. Can’t cut the plugs off and hardwire into existing circuit as each plug has an integral transformer that is clearly required to operate this solution.Do not buy if you’re in UK. Should be removed from UK store.

Doesn't come with a UK plug, easily changed. Plug lead is very short (under one meter) again easily changed. Doesn't come with screws for the outside unit but inside phone screws are supplied. Doesn't come with the cable required between inside phone and outside wall mount or (if required) the cable to attach an electric door lock to the unit. To explain that setup more one cable goes from the inside phone to the outside wall mount then a second (unsupplied) cable from the outside wall mount to the door lock. I can't talk about the door lock as I didn't need this function but the inside phone has the unlock button on it should you use this. Also note the outside unit as no ip55 or better rating for water tightness however the instructions tell you to surround the top and side edges with a suitable sealant to prevent water damage. It would have been nicer to see it rated! All this being said the unit does work (after moded for UK plug etc) and works well. The door bell function has a loud and quiet setting and the loud is loud. The outside button is only for the door bell ie it doesn't need to be held down to talk.
