So glad I packed these in my hospital bag! It helps to know how much your babe is eating in the first few days and this collection kit makes it easy to collect, store and keep track of how much colostrum your newborn is getting. The bulb on the end makes for easy feeding and the long tip is easy to slide in next to your pinky finger (if you're stimulating the palate for sucking). It even comes with labels for storage if you want to collect/freeze before birth, and the containers are BPA free. Overall this is a great kit and was very helpful in the early breastfeeding days when sometimes your nips just need a break! This would also be crucial for babies with lip or tongue ties since a proper latch can be difficult. Just for reference, we were in the hospital 48 hrs and my guy only lost 0.3% of his weight...the nurses were shocked and said they have never seen less than 1! So in my experience, the colostrum collection kit worked wonders and I would highly recommend it for any soon to be moms!

Great for baby shower gifts and a must have for new moms. These are really helpful to have a couple weeks before giving birth so you can collect or "harvest" any colostrum you are making if your OB says it is okay. These are very soft and flexible tubes easy to compress to suction up each drop. The top part is a heavy "ball" so I did have problems with it staying upright. I'm not sure what that adds to the deigns but I haven't had any issues with them leaking even when put sideways into the fridge. It has a little nipple of sorts so easy to feed little bits to a newborn baby. Each one comes in its own packaging to be sterile for first use but they are reusable, although a little tricky to wash well.

With my first child, I spent way too long finagling with a medical syringe trying to suck up colostrum as I expressed it and it was quite challenging. Plus the collection cups were not very big so I kept having to do it with more. I love how wide the neck is on this and makes collecting the colostrum so much easier! I’m not sure why the bulb part is so thick, it does make it a little harder to suck it out, if you’d rather collect that way, but it does make for a nice bottle shape for feeding baby when they’re first born. These are so much better than using syringes and make it easier to collect and store colostrum before baby comes

I ordered this item for my spouse to examine. She's 6 months postpartum and well past the point where something like this is useful, but she had a lot to say. Most importantly, she thinks this is a great item to have in the hospital Go-Bag. While many babies will successfully latch after birth, ours didn't immediately, and many babies have the same problem. She wishes we had ordered something like the LoveNoobs Colostrum collectors before our hospital stay. These things make it easy to collect the colostrum, which is hard to do with hospital breast pumps. And, more importantly, the droppers can be used as feeders for babies that struggle to latch. Since there is no guarantee that the baby will have an easy time feeding immediately, why not reduce stress and just have this well priced tool on hand?

The material is nice, the packaging is nice, and it's supposed to be sterilized already by them, so don't open it if you're not planning to get your colostrum right away. This is going to be a perfect gift for an expecting mom; they'll be glad to have it. Looks easy to use. Good value for the money for now many you get.

Wir haben direkt 2 Packungen gekauft und die haben uns extrem geholfen.Man kann nicht genug kollostrum sammeln, sehr einfache Handhabung nur das Etikett zur Beschriftung scheint zu lang zu sein und muss überarbeitet werden, weil beim Bekleben sonst immer der erste Teil verschwindet deshalb 2 Punkt Abzug.
