These are fantastic pads that can be used in a number of ways. I really like the assortment offered here!I have a number of various ways I use pads like these, but I have to say I would *not* use these to hang pictures, or things on my interior walls of my house like they are showing in the pictures. These are definitely strong enough to rip your paint off. Easier to fill a nail hole than it is to patch a giant strip...

Thank you 3M for this product. This dual side tape seizes the day.It does exactly what their write up says.I have tried numerous brands and they did not stand the test of time.This tape is being used to affirm a Switchbot Lock. After the one that came with the lock stop holding the lock in place.

Not enough adhesive to hold up a very basic cheap smoke detector to a metal plate using two squares

These strips will hold most anything indoors, but they definitely don't hold outdoors in the Florida heat and humidity. I bought these to hand curtain rods on my patio. I had the rods hung prior before moving and the pads they came with had held up for a year. I bought these to re-hang them at the new house. They fell the 1st day up. I used a 2nd set and let them sit longer before hanging and they still fell within hours. The adhesive portion just peels off the foam.
