Your Stable Shot: Premium Clamp, Sensible Cost
The media could not be loaded. As a up-and-comingcontent creator, I've had flimsy phone holders for unboxing and tabletop videos, always resulting in shaky, unusable footage. The search for true stability ends with this SmallRig adjustable holder. It's exceptionally well-made and incredibly sturdy, a complete departure from anything else I've tried. It clamps effortlessly to my tabletop and locks down with absolute, unwavering stability – my video even proves it: zero wobble means perfectly clear, professional-looking shots every single time.I mean, I shook the unit. It didn’t really shake the table, which is essential when you’re working with tiny pieces. This holder isn't just an accessory; it's a game-changer for my workflow. It allows me to focus entirely on my content without worrying about camera shake or frustrating adjustments. If you're tired of flimsy alternatives and demand rock-solid high quality at a goof price to capture the performances on your tabletop recording needs, this SmallRig adjustable holder is an indispensable investment.Seriously, ditch the frustration of other weird brand names and just go with something that is very intuitive to use while getting quality durable product and this is one nicely built with good craftsmanship.

Very flexible and reasonably durable.
Loving it so far. The ball and socket design makes it VERY adjustable, but often requires a second person available to act as a third hand if you need to make any kind of precise adjustment. Having the ball, socket, and rod sections all metal definitely makes it feel superior in quality to compared to the arm I'm using it to replace. The base grip is a "crab claw" style design, which gives it a lot of flexibility in terms of where you can mount the arm compared to those designed exclusively to attach to a desk edge. I frequently move mine from my desk and attach it to my wall mounted monitor arms to do top-down shots when painting 3d prints, and am considering getting a second one to leave in that position.

Perfect option for a configurable desktop mini-studio
I continue to be impressed with SmallRig's products. I use this magic arm for both phone and web cam mounts when I need to move away from my main desk setup, including while on travel. The claw mount is great for both flat edges like tables, or supports like table legs, rails, etc. I really like the locking mount that accepts a hex wrench for really locking things down. The segmented ball joints hold really well and the handles are large enough to get good leverage on, making it simple to adjust and lock into place. These things are cheap enough that I will probably grab a few more as backups and spares when I need to hold small LED lights, remote screens, etc.I also use this with a SmallRig iPhone cage and everything just works very well together. Great design and really functional.

Sturdy
Works great! This is very well-built and sturdy. I have used it for mounting an Insta360 in a variety of places, mounting my cell phone to a table or desk, and a few other things I probably can't think of right now. I've never had an issue with anything Smallrig makes.

Sturdy and Adaptable
A great, flexible tool! I'm a sucker for "magic" arms. In fact, to make this even more useful, I ordered a second clamp to replace the mobile phone holder. Now, I have a flexible arm that can be mounted in a number of places and can hold a number of things like reflectors, gobos, small lights, gels, etcetera, etcetera! As a location photographer, you can't have too many little tools like this. Even in the studio, you need the ability to modify the set or the light. This magic arm must be in your bag of tricks!Highly recommend!

Great clamp and arm, terrible phone holder.
So, before I complain let me just say everything else about this thing is excellent. The clamp is strong and sturdy, the arms and joints are also very strong, sturdy, and confidence inspiring. It's much easier to pose than I had assumed it would be, and I'm quite glad you can partially tighten the joints and still be able to position everything without it flopping around. Definitely going to be getting a lot of use out of this thing.Having said that, the phone holder is complete ass. SmallRig, what the heck guys? Everything else about this thing is on point, but the phone holder is just about the cheapest crap I've ever seen. Doesn't even hold my phone without jamming it in there, and even still it's likely to slip out at any moment. (Galaxy s24 in an otterbox defender case, for reference)For a thing whose sole purpose (and the advertised purpose no less) is to hold a phone, this thing is incomplete at best. It seems like they just found the cheapest phone holder thingy they could source and tossed it in the box with their nice arm thingy. As if it was an afterthought and not the intended purpose of the product as a whole. SmhIf you're gonna buy this to hold your phone, make sure to buy a better phone holder clip thingy to go with it I guess.
