If you’re willing to put a little effort into making it just right, this may be for you.
Smell: Remove and wash/dry CSJT case with perfumed detergent for wash and perfume dryer sheet for dryer. When installing case back on phone pillow stuff, a couple dryer sheets on both sides to help with the smell. Two weeks later, there is zero chemical smell. On the initial day that I did it, the perfume was masking. The chemical smell somewhat, but they were battling for position with the dryer sheets winning for the most part.I sewed the elastic to where it is shorter, therefore making the buckles tighter. Although my idea worked, I actually made elastic strap too short. But now I can rest my chin on top of the electric strap. And it holds my head up. I will probably be cutting the thread on one of them and making it a little bit longer, so it doesn’t squeeze my face so bad. The picture with my eyes closed has me fully relaxed with all of my weight as if I’m asleep and as you can see my head is not drooping nor falling in between the pillow gap, and it is very comfortable having the weight of my chin on the strap, but if it wasn’t, I could probably slip a towel on top of it to make it softer

Great product as described
As described. I have a small neck so I wish I could adjust it a little tighter but great product!

Works great for long flights
Very comfortable and supportive for sleeping on a long flight. I couldn’t get it back in the case once I took it out so I just put it in a grocery bag and tied the handles around my backpack strap to keep it clean while not being used.

As advertised
Looks just as advertised. Too bad my husband left for trip to Indonesia and left it on the counter. He sure could have used it. Memory foam appears to function as designed. Fits your neck and seems sturdy. Our next trip is only four hour flight so we likely won’t use for a while.

Medium-firm memory foam travel pillow
The pillow provides support with adaptable comfort through its medium-firm memory foam construction. It can be compressed to allow it to reduce to approximately one-fourth of its original dimensions, which helps in storage and transportability. While versatile enough to accommodate various sleeping positions, the pillow delivers peak performance in upright seated arrangements. Both the materials and overall design demonstrate robust durability against typical usage conditions, successfully balancing functional utility with practical mobility considerations.

Disappointing and Impractical
I really wanted to like this. I almost returned it thinking immediately upon receipt that it felt awfully heavy but I talked myself into keeping it by opting to not take some other items with me in my carry on. I practiced trying to roll it back up into the bag at home also but only one time. I got it in the bag and figured if I can do it once I’ll be able to do it again. Fast forward to my trip- after one short and one long haul flight is when buyers remorse settled in. I could not get comfortable with this pillow. It was either too tight and I felt like I was being choked, or my chin would fall onto the strap in the gap, squishing my cheeks and defeating the purpose of having a strap to close the ends to not have said gap. Ugh! It was hot on my neck despite the air blowing on me from above and it was just too dense. What I thought would be nice and supportive stiffness actually turned out to be a lack of ability to try different positions. At least with my old pillow I could have the opening in the front, back, or to the side. I didn’t want to give up yet but the weight became noticeable when actually having to lug it for a full day of airline travel. I also couldn’t get it back in the bag for only my second attempt at it no matter what I did. I started trying to roll it at about 45 mins left of my second flight and finally gave up when we were on final approach and I still didn’t get it bagged. I didn’t want to have the heavy, dense thing hanging off my carry bag on since we still had a taxi and train to catch (several more hours of travel) and other luggage back with us. In frustration I just abandoned it on the plane. What a waste of money. It was past the time to return it even if I did lug it around for the rest of my vacation.

soft but runs large
ok but seems to be on the large size. my wife and I 6' tall felt it was a bit oversized. Can only tighten so much and it overlapped our chins

Too thin on the back for me
The first thing when I tried the neck pillow on at home was I hit my head on the back as the back support is so thin that you would just touch the plane seat back. I am mainly a side/back tilt sleeper if that makes sense & this neck pillow mainly supports the front. Also for a petite person like me the front might be too big if you don’t like too much support on the front. My boyfriend who is a taller person & likes front support for neck pillow, also tried this pillow and didn’t feel like it provided enough support even in the front for him. Although he was more okay with the back being thinner, he was still not a big fan of it. The cover material is good and soft and looks just like the pictures! Overall, it didn’t work for me and I got another neck pillow that works for me and I’ll be returning this one.
