I have a weed eater trimmer that chews through the line, especially around rocks. When I saw this set that came with 8 prewound spools and two head covers I really wanted it. The set came and I went out to put a new spool on the trimmer. Then I tragically found out these reels are too small for my trimmer. I tried to make them work but sadly they would not. At least I was able to unwind one of the smaller spools and put it on the bigger spool that fit my trimmer. Fortunately the line fit on the spool and feeds just fine on my trimmer. As a bonus the 2 covers fit my trimmer. If they had fit these would be awesome and hopefully I find a set that does fit. Check to make sure these fit your trimmer before ordering them.

Perfect replacement and a decent value. Wallyworld charges over $5 for a 2 pack of these pre-loaded spools, so 8 for $16 with a couple of spare "lids" is a pretty good deal. Seems to work just as well as the "official" pre-loaded spools, and with how quickly you can burn through this small gauge line, it's nice to have a few extra spools ready to go.
