Righto. Review-Cost:69.99Used: One week.Positives:Surprising polycrystalline panel. Was not expecting that. 14"x13.5". All crystal with maybe 1/4" extra for aluminium frame. Heavy and obviously very weatherproof. Converter glued to the back of the panel using white silicone. ***Converter has replaceable battery***, this is important for some issues, so I'd try out a 50p watch battery before panicking.Oh, and you can charge a car or boil a kettle with this thing.Battery pack. 7"x3". Well made and rainproof. Works as advertised.Negatives:Pump. It works fine from new and pumped 12" up and 9' through a hosepipe to a waterfall. However after 7 days the line of tiny horizontal water inputs are blocking up badly, and ***without seriously strong <1mm 4 point plus 2 point stardrive with 2" 1mm shaft you can't open the pump unless you want to use a bandsaw and some silicone sealant***. Terrible oversight.Remote- Peel off the pastic battery cover and it's crap. Replace the supplied battery. Then it works.LED ring. Cannot turn it off or unplug. Bury the thing in the earth under the pump. Something new will probably breed down there and kill us all in twenty years..

When first received I and installed it I thought this would be a five star review, however after two weeks the pump has stopped working and the seller is refusing to send a new pump to replace the faulty one as I can not send video evidence only photographic which they will not accept. This product has been very disappointing and a total waste of money. I have found the sellers attitude disgusting.

I've tried a couple of solar fountains and this one works even without direct Sun.It doesn't work in really overcast weather unless it has some battery, but it Does work Much better and more often then the cheaper one that's still in my pond.I would recommend this.

BOUGHT THIS PUMP FOR A WATER FEATURE,ASEMBLY WAS EASY, AND WE ALLOWED IT TO STAND INTHE SUN TO CHARGE THE BATTERIES ,WHEN WE EVENTUALY USED IT ,IT WOULD NOT LIFT THE WATER (about 18 inchs) HIGH E NOUGH TO RUN THE FEATURE SO AS FAR AS WE ARE CONCERNED NOT VERY GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY SO WE WENT BACK TO OUR OLD PUMP WHICH DOES THE JOB BETTER.SO IN ALL A WASTE OF MONEY ! FOR US AT LEAST.

Started off well but fountain became inconsistent. Panel really does have to have bright sunlight for it to work at all. Looking at the size of the sola panel I thought I would have been OK with partial sunlight. Have now upgraded to a electric pump. Over priced and poor product. Now doubt would work wonders in the desert!!

The media could not be loaded.  There’s a fort with the power unit the pump work the solar panel work the seller ask me to email a video of the problem so I did but there email address doesn’t except emails three Time’s I did this so this is why the feedback and one star

I've had this solar pump for a couple of months now running all day every day and I've had no problems.It has a generous length of cable from the solar panel to the the controller enabling me to use a nearby shed roof to locate the former. This was important as its now out of my eye line.The pump itself has enough power for a modest horizontal radial spray to reach all parts of my small, 4 feet square pond. I dont think its enough for a satisfying water feature so I use a mains pump for that. This product is excellent therefore, as a supplementary water feature.

Bought this pump for a small waterfall, and all had worked well for two years apart from the remote which doesn't make any difference (despite seller very kindly sending a replacement). This wasn't a huge issue as the waterfall worked! The battery back-up unit has a 'mode' button which also doesn't appear to make any difference but as said it was only attached to a waterfall so perhaps more obvious on a fountain? not much sun over winter months so didn't expect it to spring into action then but once spring came this year we were disappointed to see it wasn't working. When I unscrewed the battery unit it was full of water and despite drying it out completely there is no hope.I can't say it was a bad buy as when it worked it worked well, but what was supposed to be a robust waterproof part proved faulty so if you do buy it learn my lesson and put the battery unit into a waterproof box! ........I now have a great solar panel which is not really useable with the other pumps I have seen - If anyone knows how I can adapt it I would be very grateful :-)Quick update - it occured to me later that removing the battery unit and connecting the solar panel directly to the pump........it does! So at least I have a waterfall when the sun shines now :-) So I'll give it back another star in this review!

Instalado hace 15 días, funciona perfecto, el panel solar no necesita luz directa y es bastante grande, el módulo de control parece bastante estancoPros: en teoría si alguno de los componentes de avería, podría conseguir reponerlo, excepto el pack de baterías 18650x6, que no encuentro igual.Contras: el conector posterior del panel para el cable tiene un agujero que no parece estanco, por si acaso lo he sellado con silicona

Ich nutze die Pumpe für ein kleines Wasserspiel. Aus einem sehr großen Topf wird Wasser nach oben gepumpt und läuft über eine Rampe hinab. Der Akku hält bei mir sehr lange, selbst bei trübem Wetter. Allerdings ist die Leistung der Pumpe relativ schwach. Sie muss ca 60 cm Höhe überwinden, dafür hätte ich eine stärkere Wasser Austrittsleistung erwartet. Das führt etwas zur Abwertung auf 3 Sterne.

Selbst der eine Stern fordert mich arg.Das Gerät kam zügig und korrekt verpackt.Die Anleitung war nur englisch auf einem Zettel beigelegt.Das Gerät ist vollkommen untauglich: maximal nach drei Stunden hat es sich ausgeschaltet - und das trotz voller Sonneneinstrahlung!Ich sende es zurück ...
