I love this little shaker. I use it for pizza peppers (pepper flakes). It is smaller than the ones you find at restaurants but it is the perfect size for home. The glass is pretty thick and it appears to be pretty well made. I think I could drop it without breaking. I would buy it again!

This is just like a shaker you might find at a restaurant. The slotted lid allows for good flow of the contents. We use it for crushed red pepper. Other shakers we tried were painful to use because the holes in the lid were way too small. A thick glass jar and metal lid will provide years of satisfactory use.

I use these for salt and pepper shakers

This has the look of a classic crushed red pepper shaker that you might find at a pizza parlor, but the holes in the perforated top are too small for most of the crushed red pepper that you will find at the grocery store. You end up just getting the red pepper dust and a few of the flakes that happen to be a little smaller. Most of your crushed red pepper stays in the jar. The holes are probably good for some more finely ground spices, but not your usual crushed red pepper.
