If your toddler is a picky eater and you are eliminating dairy from their diet due to allergies or digestive problems, please do them a favor and supplement their diet with this. I saw improvement in my child’s weight and development once we started supplementing him with this. I learned about it from our gastroenterology nurse. I wish I had heard about it sooner.It is expensive because it is a pharmaceutical product that contains many nutrients, vitamins and minerals the child needs. Its cost is similar to infant formula because it’s built the same way (complete liquid nutrition.) My child likes the strawberry flavor the best. He learned to like the vanilla, in time, also.The only thing this needs is omega 3 fatty acids in order to represent a very complete nutritional substitute. But it is only a supplement, so you need to add that on your own.If you’re having trouble paying for this, the Kate Farms website provides information on how to request a prescription from your child’s primary care provider.

My kids love it

I bought the strawberry flavor for my 6 yr old son, he liked the taste but it has a strong after taste which then made him not like it much. Is it worth the 45 dollars I paid for? No, I understand it is a healthy brand and does not include all the other additives that shakes usually have but there are other brands that I have used and they are much cheaper and taste better. I'm giving it 4 stars because my great grandmother ended up drinking it.

Kate Farms organic vegan milk is an excellent replacement drink that contains 8 g of proteins and a myriad of vitamins and minerals that are equivalent to traditional animal-based milk. I passed it out to people of different ages (as young as a third grader) and some love it more than others. The drink is slightly “thick” and contains some solids that need to be shaken well before consumption. I assume that these fine bits of solids derive from the dietary fiber in the plant-based blend. The strawberry taste is natural and delicious. It is pretty sweet.I understand that parents of kids with severe food allergies desperately need safer and more nutritional alternatives. This drink may be a good choice. However, I wonder whether it’s necessary, or even advisable, to include “coffeeberry” and “green tea” in beverages marketing towards young kids. In addition, this drink is very sweet, from a combination of 8 g of added sugar, monk fruit extract and agave syrup. I take beef with over-sweetened drinks. The sweetness often intends to mask unfavorable tastes. In addition, this only serves to further put our kids on the path to lifelong addiction to sweetened drinks. For a “healthy” drink that costs ~ $3.5 per cup, we should demand better.

Full of toxic ingredients, seed oils and junk that is NOt good for your child. Do not buy.

Very disappointed - I just noticed that there is less than a month on the Best Buy date from date of shipment. Normally they’re several months out - makes me wonder about the freshness of these.

I traded Ensure Strawberry drink for this strawberry drink for my mature mother. I blend this with bananas for her daily smoothie. My mom is extremely picky and has not complained about the taste. I like the fact she’s taking natural/ plant based drinks offering her more nutritional value. I try to increase her protein every chance I get. Good for health, good for all ages.
