Great game but does not work correctly on PAL hardware
I'd have given this 5 stars, but for one thing. It's an NTSC cart and if you're in a PAL region and try to play on original PAL hardware it will only work in black and white with a bit of an off picture. It's fine on my 2600+ so be aware if you're buying for original hardware.

It's Atari, it's Berzerk.
A trip down memory lane. This is basically a slightly improved version of the original Atari Berzerk on the 2600/VCS.Pretty much business as usual except it now comes with the speech that you had on the arcade original.Good purchase if you don't have the original or if you simply want to collect new releases.

Introduced to the world of Bezerk
I never played this game back in the day, happy to have the improved version with diagonal shooting as per the arcade, it adds an interesting dimension even though it is difficult to achieve on a CX-40 Atari joystick

Lovely port of the game but an absence of a manual cheapens the value for collectors.
This game is an improvement of the original 2600 port of Berzerk. The enemies can now fire on diagonals and there is some speech which was a feature of the original arcade game. However there is one star off because there is no manual in the box which given the effort expended to create the nice cartridge, sleeve and box shows poor judgement given that this item is aimed at collectors.
