My cat seems to have gone off Felix food at the moment.

My cats love it much prefer this cat food to other brands.Smells like the flavour on the sachet. and it’s the variety that my cats prefer. Pouch size is just enough, so no waste. Good value too.

My cat Merlot, is a fickle feline, when it comes to food. Only another cat owner will appreciate how difficult it is to second guess what their darling moggies ‘fancy’ to eat. Very often I put a bowl of food down for him only for it to be sniffed and looked at with distain. He’s learned to ding the bell on his collar if he requires ‘service’ (which is frequently). I’ve tried many things including pretending to eat a spoonful, saying “Yum” and have even waved the spoon tantalisingly in his direction, mumbling “Here comes the aeroplane”!! Tight-lipped, he sits looking at me, knowing eventually I’ll break…Finally, I open another flavour, then another until I’m drowning in opened sachets. Perhaps cat food manufacturers could produce “scratch and sniff” packets so that cats can decide for themselves and allow their exhausted slaves to divert their time to plumping up cat cushions… or sewing cat nip toys while humming contentedly to Cat Stevens? Just an idea…Felix Ocean Feasts are one of Merlot’s few constant favourites (except the light blue one).
