Don’t worry if you don’t have a cd rom as my son had no issues, plugged it in his gaming PC he got for his birthday, and it recognised the usb, put in the wifi password, and off into his own world! Connectivity was awesome, no issues at all so far, very happy teenager!

I was a little concerned when it arrived with a CD driver installer, but for Windows 10 and above no driver installation is needed - although the instructions were a little unclear about this, just plugging the dongle in was enough for it to star working. It's fully compatible and was easy to set up as someone with relatively low-medium tech-literacy.My laptop has a problem with WiFi at any range beyond being in the same room as the router, but this dongle has solved the problem. I now have fast, uninterrupted WiFi signal from any room in my house, without having to repeatedly reconnect or any of the other issues I was having. It's fairly large at the side of the laptop but reasonable to accommodate given the benefit.

It was great but the software and the way you download the software was a bit out of date,My laptop does not have a cd player that's compatible with the disk that I was given so I had to download it from an unofficial website it's still work and I get much better Internet with it

This slows down your internet connection and constantly disconnects every 10 minutes I wouldn't recommend. I knew I shouldn't have gone with cheap.
