If you have a VW android radio already don't buy this radio. The operating speed is shockingly slow. Sound quality is really lacking and good luck to using maps even if you replace it with Google maps you'll be at your destination before it loads up. Trying to download an app from the store you could make your dinner and eat it before the app actually downloads. radio frequently freezes. I've replaced this radio with the original and I'm gonna pay VW for access to Android auto. If you only have a standard bt radio with out touch screen then maybe this is for you but otherwise keep away for your own peace of mind

Installing it for a car proved to be a bit challenging, but this isn't unique to this product; similar products in the category also tend to have complex installations. Fortunately, I enlisted the help of a friend to install it in my Golf car. The rearview camera required secure fixing at the car's rear and connecting the power line to the car's reverse light system. The integration of both wired and wireless CarPlay/Android Auto is a standout feature, providing a quick and convenient way to connect smartphones for hands-free calling and music playback. The 7-inch touch screen is adequately sized, it's wider than my iPhone 13 Pro Max, with four functional buttons on each side, providing a balanced and aesthetically pleasing look. For cars without a touchscreen, it's a viable option. Despite its merits, there are some drawbacks. I noticed the system experienced slight lags. The backup camera also exhibited a slight delay. The price of £118.88 is considered quite affordable.

Absolutely amazing head unit. Contains all the newest functionality and allows you to listen the music from any source, like the mobile phone or even cd-player which is connected as external aux player.I recommend it
