Very nice industrial ready door contact
This door contact served my purpose very well in a smart home environment. The door that it was installed on is frequently opened / closed and while other contacts have been damaged from extended usage- this contact has never failed to report door status in the 6 months that it's been in operation.I am very satisfied with the build quality and ease of installation. It comes with all the necessary mounting brackets and screws as well as extension plates if you need it on a garage door. Would recommend.

It does not work well below 0 fahr
If it gets stuck cause of the cold swing a strong magnet over the floor mounted sensore. That helps sometimes. It does not work well in the cold of SD

Don't even think of using this for 120V circuits. It will work once, then become fried.

The included mounting screws are made of the weakest chineezium metal
The included mounting screws are made of the weakest chineezium metal.The heads of both broke off while trying to mount the sensor.I had to extract the broken off screws from the board.
