This does help with redness & irritation. I have sensitive skin (On a scale of 1-5 for sensitivity, I'd say I'm a 2.5. Nothing too difficult, but needs a little help.). When I use this *consistently* I see a positive difference. What I don't know: if you are a 5 on that scale I mentioned, this seems to be something that works over time with consistent use. If you are looking for an immediate fix, I'm not sure if it will do that for you. So, you may want to set your expectations & commit to a month or so trial. As you know, this stuff isn't one size fits all. (I wish) But, this one doesn't have additional irritants to stir the pot, and so won't make anything worse (been there, done that), & is legit at what it tries to do. So, may be worth a try.

Out of the blue, the skin under my right eye suddenly became very dry, red and even cracked - which was very strange because I was consistently using an expensive moisturizing eye cream daily on it. It was painful and ugly and I was in desperate need of something to solve the issue. I of course turned to google to help - and that was too much information out there, but I eventually found this, and although pricey, decided to give it a try. To start with, you can use this on other parts of your skin besides under your eye, but I use it only there. Secondly, it goes a long long long way - you only need a very small amount to spread - I'm sure it's going to last a very long time. While it did not heal my skin over night, I am amazed and grateful that the skin under both of my eyes is so much healthier - it took a week or two, but I have no more issues. It's not a miracle - it didn't remove my dark circles or anything like that, but now I can't imagine going without it. Highly recommend!

This is a very nice toner. I use it after washing my face at night on a cotton ball to make sure all my makeup is gone, and I apply in the morning with my fingers after my shower. It is soothing and fairly moisturizing. Paula’s products have always been some of my favorites! I especially like the AHA exfoliant, Calm cleanser, and serums. (This is a review of Paula’s choice CALM toner, but I do love the serum, too!)

I use it on the recommendation of a cosmetologist. My treatment is not fast, but it works well.
