Simple, cable management!
Love this product. Organized my chords to my MacBook, eliminating the need for a dongle and also relieved stress on computer port by consolidating all cables at the desktop instead of at the point of connection (lightning port).

Really nice hub and I got them at a great price
I have one connected to a Mac mini m1 and I dock my MacBook Air m1 to another. All ports work well and I think I get full speeds. The hub doesn't feel too hot even with a lot of stuff connected. The design looks neat but I don't know if it really does that much for cooling. The included cable is really nice and thin and was a great value add. I really like my hubs for the value I bought them for.

Works with 2 monitors via thunderbolt
I successfully hooked up two 1440p monitors to my Macbook pro using this dock - one using the standard HDMI port, the other using the rear thunderbolt port on the dock connected to a usb-c to Displayport cable. The only downside of this setup is that now my only downstream thunderbolt port is now being used by my monitor, so if I hook up an external SSD to the dock it'll be through standard USB-C. That's not a huge problem to me, considering the USB ports support up to 10Gbps and the thunderbolt port going back to my computer is probably going to be the bottleneck anyway.I considered all of the expensive options from CalDigit, OWC, Dell, Anker, etc, but they all had scathing negative reviews that made me think twice. This Kensington dock is a solid alternative for a much lower price. I paid $99 new and see it on sale at time of review for $109. I would buy it again for either price .

Best Thunderbolt 3 docking Station
I bought this Kensington Thunderbolt 3 docking station to expand my MacBook Pro M3 Ports and it does not disappoint. The two front facing usb c ports are 10Gbps, the rear usb c ports are thunderbolt 3 of which one is dedicated host port, so I’m not losing my thunderbolt ports which still is two.The there are 4 usb a ports one of which is 10Gbps. The Ethernet port works well and the headphone jack too. I use it mainly to connect my midi keyboard and my audio interface.I also have my Logic Pro library on external drive which is also connected to the TB3 dock. Lastly I have a LG 27 inch 4K monitor also connected to it via its HDMI 2.0 port. The dock also charges my MacBook Pro at 96W which is better than the 70W included charger. Only downside for me is the light stays on no matter if the MacBook is plugged in or not.All in all this dock is very well priced and is solid aluminium and feels really premium. Compared to other pricier options like the TS4 and TS3 the Kensington SD5560T thunderbolt 3 dock is a must have.

DOA or Not Compatible w/Lenovo Legion Pro 7i. Win 11 Pro 24H2. Large Power Supply.
This device would not connect to my new Lenovo Legion Pro 7i w/an Intel i9 running Windows 11 Pro version 24H2. When connected to the TP4 port on the machine, the dock would rapidly connect, disconnect, and reconnect. Sometimes it would stay connected just long enough to see it was being correctly identified in the Thunderbolt Control Center. It was totally unusable.I went through all of the basic troubleshooting steps including buying an (expensive) Intel Certified TB4 cable. I did find one problem that required me update the Intel Management Engine 16.1 Firmware on my PC, but that still didn't resolve the issue. I was running a (non Lenovo OEM) fresh install of Windows Pro 64 so I thought perhaps something had gone awry during the driver installation. As such, I went so far as to reinstall the Lenovo Image wiping out two weeks worth of OS tweaking and forcing me to utilize a Microsoft account to log in locally to the my own PC. It still wouldn't connect with the same results.Overall this was a huge waste of time, stress, and money. Now I get to deal with returning everything to Amazon, reinstalling the OS, and tweaking the OS. I spent well over 8 hours troubleshooting and now I've got at least another 4 hours to get everything back to normal.A couple more cons about this device: The power supply is physically very large. Almost as large as the power supply for my laptop. The power supply has a little oval that looks like a LED but it's not. It's just imprinted into the casing. This took me a while and some close inspection with (my old eyes) to figure out why it wasn't lighting up. Also, the dock itself has no power button. Once it's plugged in, the only way to power it off is to unplug it.On the pros side: The device itself is reasonably sized, is aesthetically very pleasing, and has a good selection of ports. One of my requirements for a doc was to have at least 3 USB ports and HDMI on the back, along with at least 1 of each USBC 3.2 / USB 3.2 on the front. This proved to be much more difficult than I expected.I suppose it's possible I received a DOA unit, but my guess is that there's some backwards compatibility issues with the new security features in TB4 (as this is a TB3 device). I'm just glad my new dock (TobenONE Thunderbolt 4 Dock UDS035) works and the TB4 port on my new laptop isn't bad.

Buggy and Inconsistent
Seems to crash windows server on Mac.The result of this is both external and internal displays go dark. I need to restart Mac to get internal Mac screen working. Sounds like a Mac dock incompatibility, possibly a Mac problem. However reverted to a 20 dollar USB-C hub and no problem. I see no driver or firmware updates for this. Nicely built high quality. Great power supply and reasonable price. Returning spent hours on this .Log below.System Integrity Protection: enabled.Crashed Thread: 1 com.apple.coreanimation.display.primaryException Type: EXC_CRASH (SIGABRT)Exception Codes: 0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000000Termination Reason: Namespace SIGNAL, Code 6 Abort trap: 6Terminating Process: WindowServer [149]Application Specific Information:CoreAnimation: failed to set internal panel mode!
