Not the best tool, but it's always there when you need it.
Man, I hate airport security. This keychain never gave me any problems at an airport, which shouldn't be surprising, because I bought it explicitly because I didn't want trouble with airport security. This tool has a distinct lack of sharp ends, which often leaves me wanting something pointy when I've only got dull objects. As a prying tool, I've mostly used it when I want to open something, and I'm compromising by not using something built for cutting things. I just wish I'd gone ahead and bought a small keychain knife, since that's most of what I use this tool for, and I'm not sure the tradeoff was worth not having a knife on my keychain. I haven't used it as a screwdriver, and I'm fortunate that I haven't needed to, because it's probably a horrible screwdriver. For opening packages, it's okay. The screwdriver end makes a horrible cutting tool, but the bottle opener works well enough for punching through tape in an emergency. However, it's completely useless against hard plastic packaging. As a bottle opener, it works fine. However, it has a bit of a learning curve, and it's not so easy to open bottles at first. If I was looking for a pure bottle opener, I'd get something else. The Kershaw doesn't give you a lot of leverage, and the prying seems to bend the bottle caps and lock them into place after bending the edge. See the picture with the blue background to see what I'm talking about. Surprisingly, the cap is still quite secure even though it's seriously bent, since more than 50% of the cap is still attached. You can try to muscle the cap off from there, but it's a ton of effort. You can't really pull any further, since the bottom is about to slip off because the cap is bent, and the end of the bottle opener has started to push down on the cap, which means you aren't actually pulling the cap off by pulling harder. You're just expending more energy to bend the 30% of the cap that's not even connected to the bottle. The solution is quite simple. Just rotate the bottle opener one quarter, and the cap pops off with almost no effort. Once you've figured out that you open it partially, then rotate the opener, it becomes incredibly easy to pop off even the most stubborn caps.I realize this review might come across as a bit negative, but I actually really like my Kershaw. If I lost my keys, I'd probably buy another one. It's never the best tool for the job, but it's light weight, and small enough that I barely notice it on my keychain. For $10, it's worth it to have an emergency tool that's probably good enough when you don't have anything else. It's basically the Swiss Army Knife effect. You're willing to make a lot of sacrifices to be able to fit something in your pocket and carry it anywhere, and that effect is a lot stronger when your tool is only barely bigger than your other keys.

Useful multi tool, id recommend it
What's there to say? It shows what it does and it does those things well. I use mine almost daily for opening boxes or prying stuff. Its too short to be a useful screwdriver, but it would work in a pinch. The quality is pretty great, its comfortable and overall worth the buy.

Lighter and smaller than Mighty Bar.
Handy little multi tool. I bought it as a Camera Op I always need a flathead for tripod plate screws and this is great for that. Good for prying, scraping and well let's not BS it OPENS BEERS. Not that I ever drink beer...... like EVERY night.

Tough little gadget.
Every now and then you get some crazy TSA place that will confiscate a bottle opener. (Don't leave home without one.) No hassles with this and I've needed it for a screwdriver several times. I think I've only needed it for prying once, but it worked fine. I do wish the little piece that fit under the bottle cap had a little sharper edge on it. It is slightly rounded and that makes it slip sometimes as you're trying to open a bottle. I don't think that was done to make the TSA happy, i think it was done to keep a sharp edge from your pocket that might scratch you. So, I guess I should be happy even if I sometimes have to try a couple times to get a bottle open.

Well worth a spot on your keychain
This tool is great for little jobs where you need a small prying tool. The flathead function is simple but it works. The bottle opener function is ok. A dedicated bottle opener will be easier on the hands but Im glad its there. I like that this tool is light and doesn't take up too much room.

Great opener for a great price
Nice bottle opener. Very sturdy and a good replacement for the one I had that was too bulky. Barely notice you have it until you need it.

Best one I've found yet
I've been trying to find a keychain tool that opens both packages and bottles really well. This one has the best bottle opener I've found so far. The edge was mediocre at opening packages, so I took it to the bench grinder to sharpen it up a little and now it's great. I've bought a handful of tools like this on amazon, and this has been the best one I've found so far
