Don't let the heavy box deter you, the frame is not heavy when putting it together. I assembled half of the outer frame first, then put it on my bed slats (carrying it with just one hand). I continued following the directions from there. Opening the box and making sure all the items are accounted for is equal to the time it takes to assemble the frame. Easy. Do pay attention to having the joiner pieces facing "up" correctly and ensure that the crossbeam endcaps (already installed by mfg.) are firmly in place. You may want to use a rubber mallet to lightly tap the crossbeams into place. The included cover fits well and easily onto the frame and has a pull tie to tighten if you want to do so.

Product showed up on time, and exactly as described. Assembly was easy, taking about 20 minutes, with easy to follow directions. Product quality is high, and I am very happy with this purchase.

It’s easy enough to put together, just a little tedious and the slats are a tight fit. But it feels very sturdy once assembled and works fine for my partner and I who have literally jumped on our mattress and weigh a combined 350lbs. It’s sturdy and good quality, you do need to be mindful it’s not a solid top so you can’t set things on it or stand on it without the mattress on topWeird thing is I bought this twice, about a month apart. One came with a full zippered cover that covered every side, top, and bottom. But the second one has a draw string cover that didn’t cover the bottom. Just seems like a weird inconsistency and I preferred the full zipper cover

Awesome box spring...surprisingly east to assemble...such a relief.

Love the full size box. This is my first box out of a box. Pun intended. I was a little weary since I couldn't physically see or touch it, but I picked well and the reviews helped a lot. I chose because the standard wood box spring I've been replacing every 5 years or so and they start squeaking because of the springs. This box is metal and was super light and easy to assemble. It fits well with the full mattress and bed frame and gives the mattress the support needed.

This is a beast of a box spring. It is solid. It took me about 30 minutes to put together and if I have to move it in the future, no more hauling around a big bulky gross wooden box spring

The Zinus 5-inch Original Box Spring arrived ahead of schedule. Setting it up was moderately challenging, but the clear instructions helped. However, assembly was slowed down by the numerous pieces to screw on. It took about 30-45 minutes with two people, but one piece arrived scratched and bent, making it difficult to complete the setup. We had to force the piece into alignment.Despite these issues, the box spring is quiet and provides a lower profile, making getting out of bed easier.Overall, happy with the purchase, but due to the assembly difficulties and the condition it arrived in, I rate it 3 stars.

Excellent build quality and assembly fit.I had an old and squeaky spring box that I replaced with this one, what a difference!, this one has zero noise, super happy with it.Intuitive setup, just like any other metal product, make sure to set all the screws and bolts before tighten them up.

Fast and easy set up, first time getting a boxspring that i have to put together, took no time at all
