Surprisingly Spacious and Well-Thought-Out!
I recently picked up the Bellroy Venture Camera Sling 10L, and I'm genuinely impressed. As someone who's struggled to find a sling that balances capacity with comfort and sleek design, this one hits the mark. I'm planning to use it for travel as my personal item and use my backpack as my carry-onPros:Surprisingly Spacious: 10L doesn't sound huge, but the clever internal organization and expandable design make it feel much larger. I can easily fit all my camera gear, Osmo Pocket 3, Canon M50, Insta360 and all the gear needed for chargingExcellent Organization: The internal dividers are customizable and well-padded, keeping my gear secure and organized. The quick-access front pocket is perfect for small essentials like keys and memory cards.Comfortable Carry: The padded strap and back panel make carrying a loaded sling comfortable, even for extended periods. The stability strap is also a great addition for active use.Premium Build Quality: As expected from Bellroy, the materials and construction are top-notch. The weather-resistant fabric gives me peace of mind in light rain.Sleek and Minimalist Design: It doesn't scream "camera bag," which is exactly what I wanted. It looks stylish and professional, making it suitable for both photography outings and everyday use.Quick Access: The top zipper allows for rapid access to my camera, which is crucial for capturing fleeting moments.Cons:Price: It's definitely a premium product, and the price reflects that. However, I believe the quality and design justify the cost.Stability Strap Placement: While the stability strap is useful, some people might find the placement a little awkward depending on their body type. This is very subjective.Limited side access: while the top access is amazing, there is not much side access.Overall:The Bellroy Venture Camera Sling 10L is a fantastic sling bag for photographers who value quality, organization, and a minimalist aesthetic. It's perfect for carrying a mirrorless setup and essential accessories. If you're willing to invest in a premium bag, I highly recommend it.

An almost perfect Mirrorless APSC camera bag
The size, design, materials, construction, and feel of carry are pretty much perfect. Can easily fit Fuji XE3 body with prime lens attached, plus two other primes or small zooms. Only bad points are the "tripod straps" which are too small and flimsy, and are attached awkwardly. Maybe you'll clip on a rolled up jacket, but not a tripod. The internal zip pocket needs some padding, as do the two end pockets. The battery pouches don't really hold my batteries in place, so I just let them be loose in the interior zip pouch. Wish both dividers has the built-in hinge, but in practice, they both fold down ok. No real way to carry a water bottle or small tablet, which is a bit of a bummer. For going out shooting with my XE3, this bag is pretty close to perfect, but it's missing just a few key features that keep it from being interchangeable as an everyday bag too. I think with one more design iteration, this bag could be absolutely perfect for casual everyday photography.

Beautiful and comfy bag but seems smaller than 10L
During a weak moment, I bought the Bellroy Venture Camera Sling 10L. My first impression was this bag is small—cargo space appears closer to 6L. Perhaps the missing 4L is in the stretchy sides? Even with my camera inside the Bellroy, I can easily fit this bag inside a Peak Everyday Sling 10L!My Canon EOS R6 MK II and RF 24-105 4L IS USM with mounted hood fit perfectly between the two dividers when laid sideways, filling about 75% of the space. The bag is not deep enough to stow a camera lens down, plus the non-removable dividers are too soft and flexible to support a camera grip. Oddly, the interior isn't Velcro friendly: you can't easily modify or add dividers. With camera and mounted zoom inside, there’s room for another small lens and flash in the stretchy but less padded ends of the compartment. As a point of comparison, I can stuff my Peak Everyday Sling 10L with a couple more lenses, flash and a 13” MacBook Pro! Plus, Peak dividers are rigid enough to stack lenses or support a camera stowed lens down. When loaded with gear, the Bellroy stands upright, albeit not as stable as a lens bucket design. With the above said, I’m keeping it: Bellroy understands how to make a comfortable sling bag, whipping my Peak and Billingham bags silly. It’s soft, comfy and sleek, hugging and conforming to the contours of my body as I cut through crowds. The minimal padding contributes to the sleek feel. The strap pad, albeit relatively thin, hugs the shoulder contour and is the most comfortable design I have used. The adjustable strap attaches to a yoke with a slider, keeping strap angle such that the bag remains against my body—won't easily tip forward and spill contents when left unzipped. Unfortunately, the buckle is slip prone and requires adjusting after a day of use. A couple well placed stitches would solve slippage, but then you wouldn't be able to adjust strap length. In fairness, my Peak Everyday Sling 10L strap also slips, so making an easy to adjust buckle that doesn't slip is apparently tough for modern designers. The weather sealed zipper allows the bag to open extremely wide, making it easy to pull out the camera. The front pocket is tight and flat, so good for only small flat objects like a credit card or small cellphone. Gussets on the pocket would be nice for some expansion but I suppose it reduce the sleek appearance. Indeed, this bag is a looker: the dark blue fabric (night sky) and smooth lines impart an urban vibe and doesn’t look like a camera bag.In summery, the Bellroy Venture Camera Sling 10L is not perfect but is well made, comfortable and good-looking. Ideal for travel and wandering around with a small DSLR or mirrorless with medium sized zoom and a few small accessories. If you need to carry a full kit, this ain't it. Instead, spring for the Peak Everyday Sling 10L. Heck, even the Peak Everyday Sling 6L holds more gear than the Bellroy.
