AMAZING unit, but don't buy via Amazon 3rd party vendor
I bought this unit a few weeks ago. When it came, the outside box was pretty severely crushed. Amazon support referred me to the 3rd party vendor who basically just gave me a bunch of "1-liner" responses to my concerns. This unit is truly amazing and worth every penny. I returned mine to Amazon 3rd party and repurchased through Sweetwater. Their package arrived protected in 3 different levels of boxes/protection. Same price, same free shipping, but comes with a free 2-yr Sweetwater warranty. Their customer support is amazing. A sales engineer contacted me the second I purchased all the way to it's delivery.

Excellent order communication and fast shipping!
As indicated in the title, the service was A1!! Great mixing board, but remember, you need a computer hooked up to the unit to unleash the creativity of the machine!

Do you like fully-weighted, hammer action keyboards? STAY AWAY FROM THIS!
I am a composer and wanted to use this in my Output Platform desk, BUT it doesn't even fit in the keyboard tray: first problem. SECOND problem: if you're used to playing any acoustic piano, or an incredible keyboard like a Yamaha S90es, you will LOATHE THIS ENTIRELY. Please, please heed my words because I read other reviews similar to this one and didn't believe it. Luckily this board has free returns so I am packaging this up right now almost 20 minutes after unboxing.People say the hammer action is more like sponge action which is pretty accurate. I would say the keys don't feel balanced at all, and while you can still get pretty nuanced performances out of them compared to a standard 88 key controller, there is a lot of dynamic range in the middle that gets left out.I felt like as I was performing a dynamic piece, the pianissimo and forte were excellent, and everything in between just kind of blended together. If this will be your first weighted keyboard, I could see it going one of two ways: you will absolutely HATE it because it's so hard to play (the action is VERY heavy, compared to my fully-weighted, grand hammer action S90es), OR you might be fine since you have no other fully-weighted references to go off of. Sorry to be non-committal there, just two very possible routes.NOW let's talk price. Outside of the keybed issue, this keyboard is SO awesome. The build is gorgeous, the detail is incredible, and it's super solid. The compatibility with different DAWs is cool especially since there are different command plates included for whichever you use, and I love that they include a sheet music and laptop tray as well. So all of that said, I think the price is actually pretty good- BUT again they hit an absolute foul ball with the keybed and that really makes this keyboard take a hit for me.TL;DR: DO NOT BUY IF YOU ARE:-a pianist-someone looking for the best qualityhammer-action controller-trying to fit this in your output platform keyboard tray without dropping the tray another two inchesDO BUY IF:-you don't care about super accurate nuanced performances-you are looking for a keyboard that gives you one of (if not the most) incredibly multi-faceted controllers on the marketBUT:-as I said, free returns so if you really don't believe me...try it out for yourself?3/5 stars because I have to give credit where credit is due. The rest of the keyboard is just incredible.

Action requires hulk hands
I previously owned the Arturia Keylab 61 mkII and loved it. After my stage piano died, I wanted to pick up another 88-key controller with weighted keys. Most of the reviews are glowing for this product, but the negative comments were consistent regarding the action. I should have followed my own advice and respect consistencies in negative reviews, but I took the chance anyway.I've played various grand pianos, synthesizers, organs, and electric stage pianos over the years, but this is easily the worst action I have ever had to endure. My hands are really strong, but you'll need to sit on the keyboard to hit those triple forte passages, and forget about any fast repeating notes altogether. It truly is spongy like they say. Aesthetically, it looks amazing. It's built very solid. The ability to control your DAW is nice and interfacing with the native V-Collection is excellent. When it comes to playability, I have to say "Thanks, I hate it."

Great controller
This is a professional grade controller with the feel of a acoustic piano. The set up can be a bit involved.

The keyboard does not come with power adapter.
I did not find anything so far that I did not like about the keyboard itself. However, the keyboard can be powered by a power adapter as an option. I feel this should have been included in the original packaging or as an additional purchase item with the original order. This will keep those that need to use this configuration option from having to shop for one and wait for it to arrive.
