RYOBIRCF18-0 18V ONE+ Cordless 10cm Clamp Fan (Bare Tool) Hyper Green

I bought this to keep air moving around in my green house as well as camping in the summer and generally around the house, its a bit of a swiss army fan when you dont need wires!I have the small 1.3Ah battery and it lasts over 8 hours on setting 1. I have a solar-powered chargable camping fan, and this beats it by miles, don't even waste your money on one and get this instead.It's mildly quite, and has a long reach (look on youtube its goes quite a way!). You could use this on your bedside or further away aimed at the bed for example and I think the noise level is passable on speed 1, its certainly quieter than the house fan I have (the pole style with 3 smaller fans you get from b&q).Speed 2 is full blast, maybe too powerful inside the house, as the power and noise jumps up quite a lot. This could be useful in an industrial setting as its almost a hand held leaf blower!The clamp is very tight and doesn't feel like it will fall off while hanging upside down.It's heavy for its size and would be perfect for normal camping when you're near your vehicle, but not wild camping when everything is on your back as its too bulky and heavy for that.Pros;-Super battery life-Can stand upright and not tip over-LONG range and moves a lot of air-Strong clampCons;-Heavy (Dont use for wild camping)-Only has 2-speed settings with a big jump in speed between them.

Very impressed. Quite powerful for a little fan. Will do the job well. Slightly noisy but can cope with that

Had to replace the first unit I bought as after only a couple of weeks of light use the bearing started to fail, making a lot of vibrations and noise. The replacement has been perfectly fine. Works with all the batteries I have for my tools so working outside in the heat has been much more bearable. Quite loud compared to some other fans but it puts out quite a bit of airflow to compensate, and to be honest, it's not like you're going to buy one of these to put beside your bed at night.The clip is fantastic - it grabs and holds on to anything - even sideways on my monitor arm no problem. Recommended, but a shame the first one was a dud.

Bought this for use in my caravan, but sadly, didn't need it while away. But boy, have I needed it recently during this hot weather.It does just enough to take the sting out of the heat, when on low power setting, at about 3-4 feet away. On high setting it is obviously better, but it is noisier, as expected (it is a fan after all).Battery life depends on what battery you use. As I have other Ryobi tools, I already had 4 amp batteries, which last about 16-20 hours, depending on the efficiency of the battery.If I was having to buy batteries, I would probably buy 2x 2.5 amp, as it would make it lighter in use & would always have a spare charged battery to install, when the other required charging.Recommend this product 100%

It is a very powerful fan lasting a good 8 hours when fully charged.

So good I bought four. You can take them anywhere and being Ryobi One+ I can use my batteries from my other tools.

Very handy little fan.Not powerful enough to cool you across a room, but thats not what it's designed for. It hits you well enough from 6' away to make a big difference.The clip is strong and clips nicely to my saw stands, workshop shelving, sunlounger and BBQ side shelf.With a 4ah battery it's nice and sturdy on flat surfaces too.I'd certainly recommend for a workshop, hit day in the garden or at the beach. I'd take this thing on holiday abroad if I could!
