There were absolutely no diagrams, instructions or anything to help make jewelry---just beads and string. My 8-year old granddaughter looked to me for help in figuring out how to use some components and I was clueless. It would have been so much more useful if there were some examples or instructions to help get her started and provide basic ideas of what could be made.

Liked: The container was sturdy and well-made, but an odd shape. Not useful if you have lots of craft supplies and need a compact way to store them. The beads were beautiful and varied.Disliked: Way to expensive for what you get. Would have been better if examples of things that can be made were included, as inspiration.

As other reviewers have mentioned, this kit is completely ridiculous. The holes are tiny and the thread shreds, making it basically impossible for anyone, even an adult, to complete the jewelry according to the instructions. The holes in the beads and flowers are almost too small to thread one day but many of the items require threading through the hole once and then back again. We tried using tweezers and needles with no success. I have a very disappointed 6 year old.

It was very nicely organized. There were no instructions. There were felt strips included that were strange. I could not understand their function or purpose. The thread was very breakable and so I substituted other of my own. The beads are lovely and encourage pattern making and design.

Cute beads, but the package is decorated with amazing beaded designs with no instructions on how to create. My child was really interested in one specific necklace, but can’t figure out how to recreate. The manufacturer’s blog that another reviewer mentioned was no help & insanely difficult to navigate. Frustrating all around.

This product is fabulous. My kids played with it for hours. Most importantly to me! Second to that is all the contents were as advertised. This seems to not be the case with craft packets. But I trust this company and will be buying more from them. I already have more kits from this brand in my lists and can’t wait to buy more. Thank you for your great quality, great packaging, and keeping on your promise to deliver what is in your kit as advertised. It means everything!!!Oh and the price point seems just about right in comparison to other projects available at this time.

These are a big letdown. Poorly glued paper-covered boxes, little paper sacks with tiny beads spilling out inside, flimsy and bent needles—unless the one I got was used. I am sending them back for a refund.

My 5 and 6 year old grand daughters loved the beads. They do need help though to thread the needle which can be a bit difficult with the yarn threads. Needle is regular needle and sharp so this age requires an adult supervising in my opinion but it is a nice activity to share parent or grandparent and child. 8 years and up probably could manage on their own.
