I'm amazed that something so simple could be botched. The aluminum ring is too small, it doesn't hold anything in place.

Perfect for Car Stereo Install (crimps with needle nose pliers)
Comes in 3 different sizes. Used the smallest for a recent car stereo installation (connecting Pioneer harness to Metra adapter harness for a 2013 Toyota Tundra). Crimps easily with needle nose pliers and holds tight. Would definitely use again in the same application. Could wrap with tape in a wet application or for extra protection/security. Great value for the application.
