Hard to find item lately.
Hearing aid batteries the size I needed have been out of stock in stores in my area. I was down to my last battery. Ordered a box, deliver the next day. I do not like the new packaging, it is difficult to open. One cannot pop the batteries out of the blister package, the packaging is so childproof it practically takes tin snips to get through the plastic and heavy cardboard to liberate the batteries.

Same batteries, but new packaging is a definite problem
As a long-time wearer of hearing aids, I have bought these batteries many times. Always in the past, they came packaged in a circular wheel of eight that could be rotated to dispense the needed batteries with ease. This shipment came in blister packs of six, with no easy way to extract the batteries from the packaging without multiple cuts to the packaging and tearing / twisting to get each battery out of its plastic cocoon. Considering the usual profile of those of us who use hearing aid batteries, this packaging change is very much a negative development. Please revert to previous packaging at earliest convenience!Pro tip: if you still have one of the old circular wheel containers, hang on to it. While it is a huge hassle to cut and twist the batteries out of the current packaging, do so for an entire pack at a time and transfer them into the old wheel, so that the difficult aspect of the new packaging is only a bother every few battery changes, rather than every [expletive] time...

Batteries (13)
Batteries are worth the price. Quality and quantity. On the other hand there’s the packaging…… It is Horrible! These are for hearing aids and while all those who need them are not elderly a great many are and it just does Not make sense to make it this hard to open them. If you have help it’s fine but if not I’d probably pass.

Too difficult to free from package
Have use these batteries for years. Now, they have changed the packaging and it is a struggle to get each battery unpacked. Despite using scissors, I still have trouble getting it out. That defeats the whole purpose of easily carrying and obtaining a battery when needed. It’s been a big disappointment.

Horrible packaging
So far, the batteries seem to be working fine. I would probably give them 5 stars. The reason for the 3 stars is the packaging. I bought these to replace energizer batteries for my mom's hearing aids since they were nearly impossible to open. My mom is 91. I'm shocked to report that this packaging is actually worse. I get that batteries can be a choking hazard for children, but does anyone consider the average age of people wearing hearing aids?? The packaging is absolutely ridiculous and is completely impossible for older individuals with arthritis to open. I'm afraid I'm going to lose a digit trying to open them with scissors and I'm much younger than my mom.I usually discount bad reviews that complain only about packaging, but I honestly feel there is a bigger hazard of my mom being injured trying to open the batteries than there is of a child choking on one since there are no children in her house.

Long lasting batteries
I’ve been using this for about a month and they last much longer than others I’ve tried. so far this battery has been in for 13 days and my hearing aid has not notified me that it needs changed. will update as I use them longer.

Be aware of the packaging...I wasn't
Did a quick look for HA batteries and bought these. Unfortunately, I didn't read the complete description and didn't realize the batteries are in child (and sometimes adult) proof packaging. They're a bear to get out, so I just cut a bunch out at a time an put them into a small container. Other than that, the batteries are fine. They last about a week for me. I'd buy them again but with different packaging...that one's on me.

If you are ordering hearing aid batteries, you are probably older. If you are older, you probably have trouble opening things. This child proof packaging is elder proof packaging. It does not come in a rotary dispenser. Scissors are needed to free the batteries. If you manage to get the package open without impaling yourself on your sharp instrument, the battery will pop out and roll down the nearest crevice, never to be seen again. Read the product page. If you are expecting a rotary dispenser, this is not it. The batteries last three to four days instead of the week for the name brand batteries.
