Saved me buying a new Van battery! :) Excellent product!
So I have an old Van that had just been ‘sat’ for far too long, over winter… and I found the battery was completely dead. I tried to jump start it which eventually worked but then it died again. So I took a £22 punt on this, not sure if it would be able to do anything, but figured if it was useless I could send it back.I clipped it on for a couple of hours, thought that was okay (I didn’t really understand the leaflet or symbols to be fair), it started, happy days, then and I left the Van for a couple of days. Big mistake…! It wouldn’t start on the day of the MOT…Then I actually read the leaflet (face palm!) and let it trickle charge all day, until it said ‘off’ not just ‘ful. That worked, and I know have a perfectly working battery again! This also has a repair mode (desulf) and I think that must make all the difference as it actually cleans the battery as well!So as long as you allow it enough time to do its stuff, this car trickle charger is amazing!* Always put red clips on first (+) then black. Reverse it to take them off!Note - it won’t jump start your car, (as in it’s not jump leads) but once it’s charged the battery up enough, you won’t need to jump start it!Also note - you need a long extension cable to plug it into as it’s got a 13amp normal household U.K. plug on - it won’t just plug into a cigarette lighter/12volt in your car/van.Highly recommend keeping one of these at home! As a mid life woman, I now feel like Wonder Woman, as everyone told me I’d need a new battery and that was £200 I didn’t want to spend! Problem solved!Thank you whoever made this, you saved the day! 😃

Nexpeak NC201 Battery Charger Review – Reliable, User-Friendly, and Budget-Friendly
I recently tested the Nexpeak NC201 Battery Charger, and its simplicity instantly impressed me. The operation is as easy as connecting it to the battery, selecting the required setting, and letting it work its magic. I used the repair mode on a battery that hadn’t been active for over a year. Although the repair process took about 6 hours, the outcome was remarkable—the battery was revived and is now performing well. While some users have noted that the cable might seem a bit short, this wasn’t a major issue for me. I simply placed the charger near the battery and used an extension lead to comfortably manage the setup. Another point worth mentioning is that the LED light indicator’s brightness isn’t intensely bright; however, this hasn’t affected its functionality—its subtle glow is sufficient for monitoring the charging process. Moreover, I secured the charger at a discounted price, which makes it an even more affordable option. Overall, the Nexpeak NC201 offers an excellent combination of ease-of-use, dependable performance, and cost-effective value, making it a solid choice for anyone looking to repair or maintain their batteries.

Charges well but needs longer cables
Works as expected. I have used it to check my EV battery (handy when going away to keep the 12V battery topped up as that powers the cars cloud connection and central locking system) Used on the Wifes car as it doesn't do much milage for the alternator to keep the battery charged, so this fits the bill. Only drawback is the cable lengths which just aren't long enough. Our cars are on the drive so on my Wifes car i can drop the power cable through the engine bay to connect into a dry box and out which is a bit of a faff and not obvious anything is connected so risks being driven off with it attached. On my EV there are plates on the bottom of the car so i can't drop the power through. The clips cable isn't long enough to exit the bonnet to put the unit in a dry box and if i keep the unit in the "engine" bay the power cable means the dry box it plugs into hangs on my wheel. Ideally the cables to the clips needs to be much longer so the dry box could sit on the floor and the much thinner cables could go straight into the close bonnet to charge. The Power to unit cable length is 80cm and from the unit to the clips is 50cm

Impressed
I had my SUV battery depleted overnight (tailgate did not close properly) while visiting. Instead of ordering a service I bought this charger (which was delivered the next day) and - voila! - ten hours later my battery was fully charged and I was on the road again. Very impressed. Saved money and have the peace of mind now that I own a quick remedy to help me in a similar situation.

Super happy with this
My car sat idle for 6 months, wouldn't start. I did charge the battery for around 12h with this charger, on repair mode. Now battery fully charged, car starts no problem. Whole process was super easy. Battery didn't even get slightly warm, as well as the device was cool all the time.

Instructions are not detailed enough
The instructions were poor, it was hard to tell if it was working, amount of time to charge was greatly underestimated.Nice small product good for maintenance, battery does need to be in a fair condition, unfortunately ours wasn't but as we had purchased the vehicle second hand we had no idea how old the battery was so thought it was worth a try as the price was good. I would have marked it a 5 if it wasn't for the instructions, in the end we attached it to a good battery to work out how to use it. Other anomaly was that it only worked on the old battery when the + was connected but as soon as we connected the - clip, the fan stopped and it stopped working. Cable to electric socket could do with being a bit longer.
