TDG The Drunken Gnome Tillandsia Air Plants Assorted Variety Pack, 3 Medium

After looking at the air plants both online and on Amazon for the last six months I finally decided to just go ahead and order some. I ordered the medium size plants and I received three of them. They arrived looking alive and healthy. They’re just the right size I didn’t want any really big ones and you can see from my pictures that I’ve included that they’re not too small. Medium are the 3 inch ones. I lightly watered them and set them in my planter box and they are very striking and gorgeous. I initially ordered these to go into a bowl on my coffee table, but once I put them in there it just didn’t look right. There are so many places that you could display these in vases, bowls are just sitting on the bookcase... they really are a conversation piece. I can definitely recommend buying these cute little air plants!

I really don't understand how this one got so many good reviews. I guess I just bad luck! Two of them are not medium size, and look like dying (see the attached pic). The center of middle one is soft and hollow. For $16, it's totally waste of money, and they are NOT returnable.The photo displayed by the seller is misleading!

I could not be happier! These little guys arrived in perfect condition and blooming! They've been a big hit with friends and family, so much so that I have referred them to Drunken Gnome. What is so great is that these little guys are so easy to care for and look so charming no matter what you display them in!

They all arrived happy and healthy, and two are almost in bloom! I am so excited about these little plants! My only wish would be to have the names (types) of the plants included in the package. The seller was very courteous and attentive. Highly recommend this product and seller!

Buy your air plants from The Drunken Gnome!)Mere words cannot express the absolute delight my wife and I had opening this package of extra-large air plants, and another package of large air plants we purchased as well) from The Drunken Gnome - it was quite like Christmas morning, but for plant-loving adults! Having contacted The Drunken Gnome's five-star outstanding customer service (thanks to Matt & Gessa!!!) to let them know a little about what I was looking for in my air plants, and having a few questions that they went out of their way to answer in-depth, I was truly excited about this package.After opening the package (which by the way were beautifully packaged in awesome colored tissue paper and the cutest little Drunken Gnome stickers that my wife is putting in her journal!), it is clear that the team at The Drunken Gnome went out of their way to provide me with the most beautiful specimens they could find. I asked for an extra-large Bulbosa Belize, and WOW did they include an extravagantly beautiful Bulbosa (the spidery looking one).The other two weren't marked so I'm not sure what species they are, but they are GORGEOUS. One is beautiful shades of green, pink, and peach, with a flower stalk starting to grow from the center - I mean words can not convey the sheer elegance of this plant. And the SIZE! WOW! Each one was bigger than my hand as you can see from the photos! The third plant was possibly the largest air plant I've ever seen in my life, and if I was not told it was an air plant, I would never have guessed. And the price was only a fraction of what I would guess a plant such as that would cost if I saw it in a greenhouse. ALL the plants arrived SO HEALTHY and undamaged in any way. They were all absolutely perfectly chosen and selected with obvious care.So, not only did I receive air plants far more exquisite than I could have anticipated (especially at the cost), but I was blown away by the remarkable customer service - FAR SUPERIOR to others! I can't give The Drunken Gnome the ten out of five stars I would give if I could, but I can tell you, dear reader of this review, that whether you already love air plants, or if you are brand new to air plants and this review has given you the idea you might want to try some out, you absolutely can NOT go wrong with The Drunken Gnome. I will be purchasing all my air plants and accessories from them in the future and would give them a shining recommendation to others.With this package, I also purchased a package of their large air plants also (that they chose specifically from a photo I sent them from a previous review to be the right species, and even asked me if I wanted a specific air plant they had in flower, so I can not even express how awesome their customer service is), and those were JUST as awesome and incredible (check the photos for what they looked like, but they each far surpassed my expectations and were incredibly healthy and perky!) - so no matter what size air plants you are looking for, The Drunken Gnome is your best friend in air plants.

I don't usually write reviews but I was so delighted by these I wanted to post a photo. I wasn't sure when placing my order whether I would receive a variety or not, and it was hard to tell from the pictures since I figured they probably post pics of flowering air plants to draw people in - after all, they couldn't arrange to have flowering ones on hand to send to everybody! My air plants arrived in perfect health however, three different kinds, and sure enough, one was flowering! Still is in fact. I placed another order soon afterwards for a variety of smaller sizes, and they all came in perfect health as well, in several different shapes and types. I have them all hanging in little glass globes by the window over my desk, and I really love them.

These are nice air plants and they came quickly and were packaged well. The downside for me is that saying they are "Medium" wasn't much help. They were so small I had to double up so they would not fall through the holders I purchased, and because of that I needed to buy more. I bought "Extra Large" on my second order.

Received my plants today and the quality seems exceptional. Very healthy looking. My only disappointment was the assortment. I ordered two sets, 3 pack of small and 3 pack of medium. The size between small and medium are almost alike. The description pictures multicolored plants which I assumed I would receive and they are all the same color green and look very similar to each other. Also I wished the instructions that were included gave more details regarding watering (ie soaking vs. misting?)I am still excited over receiving them and hoping when they flower they will give me the color I am looking for.
