Light weight, but no lightweight!
Love this thing. Does exactly what you would expect it to do. Light and sturdy. Two heights on offer. Neck feels safe and secure. Won't mark the neck. Excellent. Stick it there and just get on with the job.However, you might find it gets stuck in its cardboard box, and then it's tricky to get it out again.But once it's out, it's a winner. Recommended for any guitar related maintenance you might end up doing. I used it with a small Jim Dunlop guitar mat and have no complaints.

An invaluable and well-made accessory for fretted instrument players - guitar, banjo, mandolin etc
One of those invaluable accessories which makes life a lot easier! Ideal for supporting the neck of your instrument and leaving both hands free while you make adjustments to the setup, change strings and so on. Additionally it raises the machine heads above the level of your sofa or bed thus avoiding leaving oily stains on your furniture! The cork is an ideal material to support the neck of your treasured instrument, supporting it but smooth and soft enough not to cause physical damage. If necessary you can raise the height of the support by putting a book or wooden block underneath.

Just what I needed.
This support is great. I like to tinker on guitars and this support makes it so much easier. Whether I'm changing strings or pick ups, this support is great and the two height settings make it so versatile. Why on earth would you pay more from one of the big brands when this will do just what you need it to. Highly recommended
