Q: How do you collapse this back together?

These come in 3 sizes. FOR THE 12-INCH UNIT: pick a vertical edge and push the top corner to its opposite top corner, and push the bottom corner to its respective opposite corner. This yields a flat configuration, easy for storage. FOR LARGER UNITS (the 2-ft and 3-ft tall units): take this a step further (like some car windshield sun shades), to its original small compressed size, hold it flat in front of you; in your left hand, take the far left corner; in your right hand, take the close right corner. Now, twist into a figure-8 by bringing your left hand to your right shoulder while lowering your right hand straight down; your two hands should now be vertically placed (left being well above the right). In this figure-8 configuration, now bring your right hand up... passing by / close to your abdomen... up to your left armpit. Where the "8" crosses should flip outward away from you during this latter move. You should now have "folded/twisted over" the two circles of the "8" configuration over each other. Voila!
