A fine addition to your RO system.
Installation was simple. I will say that, going into projects like this, I always assume I'm going to have to pick up a fitting or 2 to make it work. It's simply not feasible for a manufacturer to include EVERY potential fitting for EVERY potential setup. When I added this 14 gallon tank, at the same time I converted my RO-90 to the RO-HI with the 3/8" upgrade kit. So for my installation, I had to get a 3/4" NPT (garden hose fitting, essentially) to 1/2" adapter (brass), a 1/2" to 1/4" NPT nylon adapter, and a 1/4 to 1/4 male to male to fit the 3/8" tank ball valve that came with my 3/8" upgrade kit. My old 4 gallon stock tank is fed from a T fitting running off the 3/8" line between the 14 gallon tank and the final carbon filter, using the original 1/4" line and using a 3/8 to 1/4" pex reducer. This way I didn't lose the 4 gallon tank storage which is now added to the 14 for 18 total (12-13 realistically).System performance is fantastic, and now I never run my tank dry filling up my spaghetti noodle boiling pot! Worth every penny.

Great tank, use brass fittings...
This is a great large capacity tank for my reverse osmosis system, but it took a minute to make the leaks stop. At first I used a PVC reducer for the 1/2 NTP to 1/4 NTP for the 1/4 line that runs to my water system, but the PVC connector (that did have Teflon tape and pipe dope) was leaking. I tightened it, and still had a leak. Long story short, I replaced the reducers required with brass fittings, and the leak went away. I did have it in a water heater pan, just like I have my well expansion tank for just such water issues. You can never be too prepared!*It was a small drip about every ten seconds, but that's enough to create a problem quicker than you think!

Great upgrade to RO system
I bought this to upgrade my RO system storage capacity from the original 4-ish gallon OEM tank. The biggest challenge to installing the new tank was my original tank had a 1/4" NPT connection and this one uses 3/4" NPT. I mistakingly assumed I'd be able to run to Lowe's or Home Depot and buy a single reducer or new valve to go from 3/4" NPT to 1/4" NPT or John Guest-style push to connect. Based on what was in stock locally, I ended up using a 3/4 to 1/2 FPT adapter (Lowe's item 877217), 1/2 MPT to 1/4 FPT bushing (Lowe's item 877203), and a 1/4 NPT nipple (Lowe's item 877223). Probably obvious, but if you go this route make sure you use plenty of Teflon tape on all the threads to prevent leaks between the various pieces.

Great looking tank that seems very well built!
I’ve not had the tank very long however so far it’s perfect. I had been using a drum with float valve prior but the issue with those is it’s a lot harder to keep fresh. I’d often get a dirty aquarium water smell after a short period of time. I use this for my hydroponic plants and just wanted something sterile to hold the water where dust and other stuff couldn’t get in.I was pleasantly surprised when the tank arrived. It’s taller than expected. The photo showed more of a stubby tank and I really wanted the taller style like the iSpring version. So when it arrived tall and skinny I was super happy. I opted for this one since it was a little cheaper and had more reviews and an overall better rating than the iSpring. Both had great reviews either way.I have a 1/4” RODI line going into the unit a 1/4” to 3/8” adapter. Then a 3/8” Y Adapter so I can output with 3/8” for a higher flow. Lot easier to fill 5 Gallons at a time out of the 3/8” line. I was also told you may want to use a check valve on the input into the tank. I just decided to use some 3/8” tubing with a valve and a little piece of tubing at the end instead of a faucet. This just makes it easier to get the water to my reservoirs to fill.Couldn’t be happier honestly.
