These are very nice pencils. I decided to try them after getting the third order in a row of the famous yellow ones which all had leads that were broken the entire length of the pencils.I like the darker lead. The wood is pretty good and they sharpen very nicely. I’d just as soon they had attached erasers but I just buy the kind that go on the end. I’m happy with these.

These dark pencils are difficult to find. As the point wears down, it writes even darker. I’m glad these were available.A wonderful pencil, if you can say that about a pencil. I write a lot on my logbook during ham radio contacts.It’s easier for me to see. When these are used up, I certainly will order more. It’s hard to get excited about a simple pencil, but I am. I think you will like these, if you want darker writing.

This is a good pencil.The set cones with a little eraser in a plastic case and also has a clear blue sharpener that sharpens smoothly while not using too much of the pencil. Sharpens to a lovely point.I didn't know what to expect and I'm so glad I took a chance!Also ordered the DOMS triangle sharpened pencils right after. Cones with a ruler and sharpener and tube-shaped eraser that smells wonderful. Reminds me of middle school.You cannot beat this price.Obsessed!

No darker than a #2 pencil. Wanted them for working crossword puzzles so need to be dark lead. They don't sharpen well. Lead breaks inside before getting sharpened enough to use. Eraser is very good.

These pencils make a very readable dark print. My only issue is they don’t have erasers.

They are sharp and write well.

It was stated that these pencils are Xtra dark. They ate not. Same as a #2 pencil. Not what I expected.

Nice little box that has the pencils, eraser and sharpener all in one. I use it when I'm traveling or using it away from home.
