Very strong spring, ideal for repair of garden cutter.

Wife chair twanged and found out it was a spring, too much hassle claiming on warranty, this spring sorted it in 5 mins.

The spring on my long lopper disappeared somewhere in a bush so I thought I could fix it, however the ends of this spring were too thick to easily put through the holes in the head. I tried to stretch it with coins etc but I still could not get it to fit, but that may be my lack of skill or tools for the job, someone else may have no problems. It is a well made strong spring so I cannot fault it. I have resorted to attaching one end with thick wire as I could not find a hook to fit ,but do not think it will last, so I bought another lopper to share the work as I have a lot of lopping to do this year!

This spring was described as being 100mm long, whereas it was actually well short of that at about 92-94mm - and being new and very stiff, the spring would not expand or stretch far enough. This is annoying as I now have to return it and order a larger - and more expensive - one !

Used this spring on garden lopers after original one went missing. The spring is strong enough for the job

Bought this as a replacement for the one on my tree loppers which had snapped.
