A Gentle Reminder

This book is a life saver for me.

I am so glad I sampled this and decided to get the audiobook and the ebook. I now need to get the physical copy, I love how these books were created for you to always come to something that feels familiar when something doesn't feel sure to you. A book meant for anyone's self care routine and healing journey.

It was written beautifully. Very inspirational. I started reading, and I could not put it down. It was also emotional, especially with those pages you relate to, and you realize how you need to heal. If you are searching for inspiration or reflection, feel stuck, need to let go of something, or need a good, heartfelt read, I recommend it a million times over.

This is the book I’ve been looking for. I wanted to highlight every sentence. If you are on a healing journey of any kind this book is the perfect commitment. Short compact paragraphs on healing, the perfect amount when I just want a little dose of encouragement.

A Gentle Reminder is a captivating listen that kept me hooked from start to finish. The narrator's expressive voice and perfect pacing brought the story to life. Relatable and endearing, this audiobook is a must-listen for anyone who appreciates a well-told story.

I love this book so much that I bought 4 more copies for my girlfriends. The only feedback I have is the author uses the same words over and over again and it can get repetitive and boring fast. For example, she uses the word “vilify” over and over so many times that it was getting a tad annoying.

I first saw this book on the social media page of Jayda Cheaves and I immediately went searching for it because she had it open to a passage that spoke on having the courage to deal with your demons and that spoke to me directly. I advise anyone that is on a journey of self discovery, self love, or healing to purchase and read this book. I suggest to readers not to go page by page daily, but instead read through it one passage or portion at a time and reflect by really getting raw with yourself. I took time in between reading (sometimes 4 weeks) to retain what I understood from the book and utilized it to challenge myself to grow. The journey has been life changing and I’m still reading it .

The little passages you read in this book can really change your mood for the day and give you soo much hope! I was taking pictures of some paragraphs to send to my friends because I knew they could use them.
