CLEP Official Study Guide 2015 Study Guide Edition

If you are taking more than 2 CLEP exams, this is the book for you. Great value, and good prep for what's on the actual exams. My college library had one copy available for checkout, so if your on an extremely limited budget, check your school first. A lot of this info is available online as well, but I like having the physical book.

was a good study tool, but the american lit test was very different from the sample questions. i used this and the idiots guide to american lit and it was close. scored a 58/80 so i passed since you need the 50 most places, but id advise studyig some extra jazz age and african american stuff, as well as some extra puritan stuff.

It's a useful book if you're taking several but please note that it's not like a Kaplan book (GRE / PRAXIS is what I'm familiar with). What I mean by that is that it's ONLY practice tests and, at least for math, no explanations or content. So only really useful if you want one practice test per content area. If you really want to pass a CLEP just buy an individual study guide or pay for some of the websites online. This book was decently helpful but not as much as Kaplan products or other things I found online.

This book is a little disappointing. The test questions are extremely similar to the 2010 (I think that's the year) purchase. In the Sociology section, only a couple were changed at all. I didn't compare any of the other subjects.

It's only practice tests. But by reviewing material within the questions you can create a study guide. You'll need additional resources but it's nice to have these practice tests because they are college board approved

The guide is OK, seeing as it's only a book full of tests for any CLEP offered. It was helpful to get a different source of practice test materials, but in the end that's all it's worth and is tough to say this substantially helped my ability to pass my CLEP exam (I had ordered this specifically for the American History II test). This alone WILL NOT help you pass your test.

this book came in small packaging which fit the book perfectly, I was expecting a huge box like other sellers usually use so I was glad when I saw that it wasnt. The book was in new condition, and contains items similar to what you will see on your tests, I wish it had more of a actual "study guide" for the different sections, but over all great purchase

It helps calm your nerves, to know what kinds of questions will be on the test. The book also helps you to consider whether your knowledge is comprehensive enough to take the test or if you need to do more studying first which I have found helpful as I am taking multiple tests.
