I can't speak to the durability as I just got them, but I ran them through the wash when I first got them and have been using them since. Soft and absorbent.

I bought a set of 4 pink Utopia bath towels in a slightly different weave/style few months ago. I’ve since found that when I go to get clean towels.. I choose those pink ones for drying my skin.. and haven’t been as picky for the second towel for my hair! The pink Utopias are a little rougher than many of my towels, so it’s weird.. since I suffer through life with the pesky fibromyalgia, and am ridiculously sensitive to textures! But the pink set, which is also labeled/sold as 600 GSM, dry my skin much better than any of my other bath towels (various brands, including pinzon, dkny, that alligator brand, hotel.. something, Betsey Johnson.. and many others from both cheaper and higher priced lines). But when these came today in the lavender (the style of the pink aren’t offered in a set of 4 lavender bath towels), I was surprised at how much thinner they feel. I honestly got these on a whim for either their lightning or deal day.. as I couldn’t decide on any other lavender ones offered! I’m thinking these will go back, as it’s apparently not easy to find the perfect towel anymore, even in the same brand! The hunt for both bright yellow (still haven’t found one I’m brave enough to take a chance on) and lavender will continue….So thankful Amazon allows returns. Did not wash or dry these .. didn’t think it would make much difference! The pink were thick and lovely when they arrived, so logic should follow the lavender will stay thin as they are now, even after laundering…

Loved the color, until I washed them. They faded some, but they are soft and comfortable.

Nice set wish they looked as thick as they do in the picture but there not other than that was worth £20 for the set

These were washed once as per instructions as they are falling apart

So ordered these as I love the plum colour. Came yesterday and went straight in washing machine and unfortunatly the all have loose strands (didnt when went they went in machine). I do not like thick fluffy towels so these were perfect. I did read the reviews so I took the chance but wished I'd gone with my gut instinct. Pay extra for descent towels..........lesson learned

The towels have loads of threads sticking out everywhere, and after the 1st wash before use they are not soft or in good condition. Wont be buying again.

They look good, unfortunately they are not very soft. They're not even as soft as some of the 10 year old towels they are meant to be replacing. If you don't mind your towels being a bit on the hard side, then they are good value. It looks like the dogs are getting some new towels.
