I've bought two times and the second order looks clearly cheaper. It feels like they either changed the manufacturing process or these are not original converters.

I have a LAMY pen and I bought this to have a good ink flow. Even if The converter seems to be well made, it is screw based and apparently easy to recharge, it does not work well. The pen will have a lower ink flow compared to a normal lamy cartridge. I have tried other converters and is just not good enough.The writing will not only be much lighter, but at time the flow will be interrupted, and you will have to turn manually the screw; it is not supposed to work this way....

3 stars as it meets requirement with nothing premium about it. Plastic though mentioned as ABS, is not very strong. Cracked on second day of use, possibly my error of not minding to lock the side post in groves of the safari.Ink leaking into the piston chamber and consequently out the knob end. Dismantling for cleaning may not be an option (as opposed to video found elsewhere). Tried after finding the converter cracked, but the metal ring is glued or heat shrunk

Simple, convenient and necessary if you own a Lamy fountain pen and like to use different colors of ink.
