Instant difference
I just installed the throttle body which was very easy and I replaced the gasket that I got from my local auto parts store. The 5.4 Triton has always been kind of a slug. I must say that for my first run I actually got a "Kick" when I hit the gas. I didn't know she had it in her. I gave 4 stars because time will tell if this initial upgrade will last but for now this throttle body gets a WOW.

Solved my problem
Bought this for my 2012 Ford Expedition. I had it professionally installed. So far it solved my SUVs issue.

If you need a throttle body on a budget!
Simple to install! If you have rough acceleration on a Ford F150 5.4 Triton, this is cheap enough to see if this is your problem. Why clean it when you can get this one cheap? Don't forget to reset the ECM! You take the negative clamp OFF the battery. Take a jumper wire from the positive lead to the negative cable for one minute. Then hook negative back up. Turn key on , let the throttle body cycle (about 15 seconds) then start a COLD engine and let idle for 15 minutes. THIS HAS TO BE DONE ON A COLD MOTOR! If you have had acceleration problems, this will probably fix it.

Back on the road
My 08 Ford Expedition was stuck in limp mode I changed the tps thinking that was the problem it wouldn’t even start after that so my son the diesel mechanic came over with the snap on scanner and it said the throttle body was bad so I ordered this one it was cheaper than the tps I ordered and it had one on it already I installed this and it fired right up it’s only been a week but so far no problems
