Our old brush attachment had plastic bristles that disintegrated. This one has horse hair, and is made very well.... Not to mention universal fit. You can't beat the price!

Product met my expectations with a very good build quality and strong yet fairly soft bristle design. I was able to connect this brush and others to my Shark Navigator ZU60 vacuum cleaner (Shark is a pain with their odd diameter vacuum tube dimensions) with a small adapter available on Amazon. Good fit for my new Electrolux canister hose. Nice, oval shape makes a good fit for most uses and applications. Bristles not too soft and should hold up well.

it does fit on Kirby it does NOT fit on Shark :(I used to help me with my deep clean this year with my Kirby. We live on a gravel road and only about 30 feet from the road, so we get a LOT of gravel dust built up over the year. Add to that all the combining dust as we live in the middle of corn and bean fields; and well EVERY crook corner and cranny has dust when i do my deep clean.This thing is amazing the bristles are soft enough that they didn't scratch anything I used it on. furniture, window frames, window sills, walls, ceilings, fans, you name it. I did use it on the BACK of tvs and monitors I WOULD NOT USE TJIS ON THE SCREEN OF TVS/MONITORS. I wouldn't use any brush of any kind for that!.The bristles are soft enough not to scratch but they are just the right amount of stiff to actually clean!!I took it to my Mom's to clean but it wouldn't fit on her Shark :( I wanted to use it so badly in her house I seriously considered ordering an adapter set to see if i could get it to fit. If it had been too big rather than too small I may have taped it on. haha

Fits my Kirby Sentria (circa 2007-10). It works nicely. Bristles are neither too soft nor too firm. I do wish I could find a version with very long bristles to assist further with cleaning fan grates.

The oval design is a big improvement over the original round design. We use this mainly around the hearth and it shortens the time needed to clean the area due to the wider profile. It's very well made and durable.

We have a cheap bissell that cleans very well but the attachment are crap. I bought this when looking for an extension tube because the bissell ones are not long enough to reach anything. Last time I tried to clean a ceiling fan with a different vac tube taped to the bissell tube it came apart, the end fell in the toilet sucking the water up out of the bowl, lol. I saw this brush with the good hairs on it, not the plastic scrub brush spikes the vac manufacturers claim are dusting brushes today. The shape is nice, narrow one way and wide the other. Of course since bissell uses a 1.5" tube instead of the standard 1.25" I had to soak the tube end of this brush in hot soapy water to soften it up to attach it to the extra bissell tube I bought at the same time. Now I can reach the bath ceiling fan with a decent brush that actually brushes the dust loose. I leave it attached to the extra tube for ease of use. Nice brush.

I haven't actually used it yet, so I can't address how sturdy the bristles are, but they look good to me. I really like that it isn't hard plastic, but instead is a flexible/rubbery type of plastic, so the hoses don't have to be perfect in order for it to slide on and stay there. All in all, a good value for the price; less costly than going to the vacuum shop for replacement fittings. :)UPDATE: I've been using it for a while now, and I think it works really well. The bristles are definitely sturdy and don't fall out with use. I would definitely buy this again. :)DEC 2022 UPDATE: These went "on sale" so I bought 2 more. :D

Nice sturdy brush with decent bristle density. Bristle firmness is smartly supported by a fixed inner sleeve (plastic/rubber compound) that is strong but still pliable. We gave a four star rating simply because we are more accustomed to the typical round brush. Perhaps the narrow ends from this elliptical shape will enable one to better access corners. I'm sure we'll get use to this design shape in no time.
