Olay Total Effects 7-In-1 Face Moisturizer Plus Mature Therapy, Beige, 1.7 Fl Oz

Have used this for a couple of years and have never been disappointed. It is light, absorbed quickly into the skin, has no perfume, and helps skin quite a lot.

I am still pretty young so I don't have "mature skin" necessarily, but this moisturizer has such a great mix of antioxidants and anti-aging ingredients that it is definitely worth it for anyone who wants to incorporate anti-aging products into their routine. While some reviewers have commented on the fragrance of this product, it doesn't particularly bother me and I am very sensitive to fragrance (a lot of them give me migraines). If you do hate the smell, I've found that it doesn't linger all that long. While I think a lot of us would prefer a fragrance-free product, I think the benefits of the product outweigh the fact that it has a fragrance. I appreciate that this moisturizer comes in a container with a pump rather than making you dip your fingers into a tub. That just seems so unsanitary! The amount of product lasts a long time with daily use. While I prefer to use this at night, I can see some benefits to using it during the day as well. It contains pigments that brighten your skin and it definitely makes your skin smooth for makeup application. I would use this during the day if it had SPF, but it doesn't so at night it is! The cream itself is light yet moisturizing and it absorbs really well into the skin. There is also no pilling, which is something I've had problems with in some other creams. I will definitely continue to use this product as I believe it compares well to anti-aging creams from higher end brands.

* My skin: very oily, mild rosacea, sensitive to some skin products, prone to breakouts, showing some fine lines around the eyes, not sun spots (ok, one, really tiny), not sun/enviroment damage, not smoker, I drink plenty of water daily.- The good about this cream: I've been using it for a couple of weeks only, but every time I apply it my skin feels great, bouncy and bright, most surprisingly: not oily anymore!, usually moisturizing creams leave my skin oilier and feeling heavy and greasy, but this cream controls the shine and feels very light. This is the first time I can apply a regular cream to my face during the day and go out like that without looking shiny. I haven't tried using it under make up ( I don't wear it daily) so far, so I don't know how it works with a full foundation on top. This cream also creates a look of evenness on my skin, the light reflects in a way that my skin looks even and glowing, not in a shinny way, but like a healthy glow. It's light and easy to apply. I don't know what kind of effect it'll have on my fine lines or future wrinkles, I don't count on any cream magically erasing signs of normal aging, but I'm sure my skin will look better using a good moisturizing cream, than not using anything at all.- The bad: It has a pleasant fragrance at first but then once on your skin it has a faint smell of diaper cream. If you apply it too close to your eyes, it stings for a while, it goes away, but it makes my eyes teary when applied to close to them.Hope this helps. I will continue using it because it does make my skin look and feel great while applied. It may do some good to it in the long run as well, we'll see, moisturizing is always a good idea.

I started using Oil of Olay products out of necessity. I spent most of my adult life overseas. Many of the products I used in the States either weren't available or the cost was prohibitive. Oil of Olay products were available in almost all the countries I visited. I was a broadcast journalist and the stage makeup I had to use was having a negative effect on my skin, even though I washed it off immediately after a show was over. A few weeks after starting to use the Oil of Olay products, both myself and the man in my life noticed a positive difference in my skin. It was softer and there were fewer breakouts. Now that I am a "woman of a certain age" as the French would say; I have shifted from the basic moisturizer to the Total Effects moisturizer. Again, I was amazed at the difference in my skin. It is softer; the skin tone is more even; and the fine lines are gone and deeper lines less noticeable. I have a friend who spends hundreds of dollars on her beauty products and even she admits my skin's appearance is better than hers...but she refuses to switch because she thinks the pricier products have to be better for her skin. To me, it seems more evident that the Oil of Olay products are better at a much lower cost.

great moisturizer. this brand does not ever disappoint

I just recently purchased this an so far I really love everything about it. The smell is very nice and light. The texture is also very nice, not heavy or greasy and it goes into my skin. Some tend to lay on top and are thick so you could actually scrape off but this is perfect is every way.

I quit wearing facial creams a while back, since I stay indoors 99% of the time and my social life is non existant. However I have a grand daughter's wedding to attend in fall, so I thought I'd go back to my old stand by, Oil of Olay, and see if I could coax a little of the old me out of my shell. I do love the way it makes my skin feel, but the scent is so strong, I simply end up washing it back off. I'm so disappointed.
