Braided Nylon Twine Cord Thread String for Necklace Bracelet Jewelry Making Crafting Accessories (2mm-98feet, Pink)

I had thought maybe this would be like the smooth black nylon cord you get for cheap kids necklaces, which is basically what I had been looking for. Which this stuff is NOT. This stuff is pretty course and kind of rough to the touch. Much thicker and harder to use than I’d anticipated. Good for the right project, just not for MY project.

I have a wind chime that I love that is slowly falling apart. This is a perfect match for the string holding it together. The broken chimes have been put back on and it's up ringing again!

Works great for replacing your windchime string. Took a long while to finally find this after getting a much thinner string which didnt last.

My family doesn't like masks with elastic in terms of both appearance and comfort. I initially used shoelaces to make the earloops but wanted to find something that fit a little better since the shoelaces were too wide for our smaller ear size.This cord in 2 mm, black worked out perfectly - I cut approx. 15 inch. per loop and tie each ear loop with a sliding knot so it's adjustable for comfort. The string itself burns pretty well and doesn't unravel much when I uncut it - I would probably say the only caveat is that when burning the ends to seal it, the burnt part is a little yellow in color. Other than that, I'm really happy with this and will purchase more for any future masks I need to make.I also think it'll be strong enough for some arts and crafts/decorating that require cord so if I don't need it for masks anytime soon, I'm sure I'll be able to find other applications for it.

It’s the nature of the product to unravel when cut, but makes it hard to fit into end caps. You can burn the ends to stop the ravel, but it makes the ends bigger. Keep in mind when you buy end caps.

I bought this cord to make necklaces to give out for men in church. The cord come in various colors; I got it in black.The cord is braided, the material feels good and sturdy quality and measures 2mm, it came 98' in a spool. I was able to make 40 necklaces of 24" each.

I use this to construct backpacks with string through the top of it and then down the side those kind of you they singe tight together at the top and then you can open them and then strap them around your arms and for some reason the slippery string didn't hold a knot very easily for security while I'm slipping it on and off and carrying stuff in it so it was a little disappointed

Good quality thick thread. Purchased to make necklaces and bracelets with, very nice black colour. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to make jewellery/friendship bands with etc.

The item is supposed to be 98 feet long and that's what it says on the tag. We ordered two and neither were the advertised length. One was 87 feet long and the other was 85.5 feet long.
