Grindz is great; does what it supposed to do. ... it is too bad that it costs so much, however. You would think that given all the people that grind their own coffee in burr grinders, there would be good American products. Instant rice works, but not as well.

Yup these work great.I strongly recommend this large size container, its much cheaper this way.Sometimes I also use rice on a coarse ground setting prior to using this, because it does get the cleaning started, and then I finish up with these urnex tablets. Im probably just being cheap, but it works.

Great product for cleaning your grinder.

Once you fall down the "coffee rabbit hole" and buy a good flat-burr grinder you soon realise that the grinder will need cleaning. About once a quarter (3 months) seems to be the recommended interval.I bought a grinder and then decided to send it back due to use issues. In order to clean this I bought a package of these Urnex Grindz cleaner pellets as they were recommended by the grinder manufacturer. They are easy to use. Just add 30 - 40g into the hopper and press go. As far as I could tell they worked. The only residue was the residue normally left in the grinder. In normal useI would recommend using a sacrificial 30g or so of coffee after cleaning the grinder. This will purge any retained coffee and Urnex cleaner too.Safe, natural, easy to use and effective. A great solution to keep your coffee grinder in tip top shape.

I have a commercial espresso machine and grinder in my home and wanted a commercially used product to keep my grinder in top shape. I’ve been using this for almost 20 years now, through all the iterations of commercial machines I’ve had in my home. It works exactly as it should. Cleans any gunk or oil from the blades and also the chute in my grinder. I’ve recommended this product to friends who have high and low end grinders in home and all have continued to use it for years now.
